CHAPTER 6
"See, Lola. Lumalayas layas na ang Unica hija niyo oh." Bungad ni ate Avril habang kinukuha niya si Chichay sa'kin. "Even my Chichay awww." Nagsisimula na naman siya.
"Shut up" mahinang sabi ko. "Why are you here?" tinaasan ko siya ng kilay.
"Why?" Tinaasan niya rin ako ng kilay.
"S-shhh. Both of you never get tired of bangayan ha." Saad ni Lola.
"Si ate kasi La. Pasimuno." Saad ko.
"I'm just saying the truth." Aniya
"Ohsiya. Tama na. Samahan niyo ko at magluto na tayo. Then let's eat after. " Sabi ni Lola
Inirapan ako ni ate Avril at binawian ko siya ng sama ng tingin.
Tinulungan namin si Lola maghain ng mga pasalubong niya galing sa Baguio. Buti nalang ay huminto na sa pang-aasar si Ate.
Mahilig at masarap magluto si Lola, namana ni Dad at namana naman ni ate Avril.
"So why are you here?" tanong ko habang kumakain kami.
"So I'll get my pasalubong from Lola Dhel." Nagkatinginan silang dalawa ni Lola na parang may tinatago silang dalawa sa'kin.
"Tell me the truth." Saad ko
"Lola give me a favor to cooked this Adobo. Tikman mo pa bilis." She offered the Adobo for me. I shooked my head. "A-and..... I invited Lola on Ken's birthday....." nagkatinginan sila ni Lola at ngumisi.
"If it is okay to Lola then invite her. I think she loves that." I smiled. "Lola?"
"Yes, Avi. Also you're tita Karen invited me when I'm in Baguio, so I should go." Nagkibit-balikat at ngumiti sa'kin si Lola. "Besides, matagal ko ng hindi nakikita 'yong apo kong 'yon." She added.
"And plus..... Ken is our best friend since we're kid. Ken is also kind to me, to our family since then." Sunod sunod na sabi ni ate Avi, na parang may pinapahiwatig. I know what she meant earlier. Ang hindi niya masabi sabi sa'kin na rason niya why is she here.
"I knew it. You won't bother yourself coming over here unless you want something except Lola tell you to do something important." I smirked.
"Avi. You're too much. So grabe ha." natatawa niyang sabi.
"You're too much. So grabe ha." panggagaya ko sa ginagawa niya. I rolled my eyes again.
"Ang arte mo ha! Diba dapat ako nag-iinarte dito! I'm the beauti quEnN hErE." Pang-aasar niya kahit pa may laman na pagkain ang bibig niya. Rinig ko si Lola na tumatawa sa kagagahan ni ate Avi.
Hindi ko alam kung paano niya naitatago ang pagiging abnormal niya sa industrya.
"You know, come. Ken is invited you dude and I said to him that you will come at the party." She smiled at me.
"What the! How did you just-! I WON'T." Uminom ako ng tubig at pinagpatuloy ang pagkain ko. "Kaya pala you cooked my favorite dish ha. May balak ka pala na isama ako d'yan sa party na 'yan!" I rolled my eyes.
"Sis, come. Please. Your kuya Ken misses you." Saad niya
"I have so much to do." buntong hininga ko
"Chance to meet him again." Pleasing me
