"The school was built out of the inspiration of UA High, the most prestigious school in all of Japan. Though we don't meet their standards to the full extent, we make it all the more reputable to the public. Here at Ousei Academy, we accept all who are gifted, whether they have a powerful quirk or no quirk at all," Mr. Kirigaya says causing everyone to be in awe, while the eyes of a certain green-haired boy sparkled with interest. "We see the potential in all students and help them embrace rather than deny them. "
"Why does that remind me of someone?" Izuku said sighing as he began picturing a very exhausted man wearing a scarf around his neck.
"Hm? What was that Deku?" Ochaco asked from beside him.
"Oh uh, nothing! Just thinking about something I watched," he said laughing nervously, while Plagg who was eating a piece of cheese shook his head disappointedly in his bag.
Ochaco looked at him questionably for a few seconds but decided to let it go and pay attention to the front. Walking beside them, listening to their interaction, were Mina and Eijiro who were still holding hands. Mina quietly giggled while Eijiro looked at them questionably.
"Uh, didn't you say your name was Izuku Midoriya?" he asked gaining Izuku's attention.
"Yeah, why?" he asked.
"It's just, she just called you 'Deku' dude. What is that? A nickname?" he asked.
Hearing his question, Ochaco lowered her head as her face began to burn up. She of course knows the answer but is too embarrassed to say it. Izuku on the other hand...
"Well, it used to be a name someone called to show how much defenseless I am," he said before turning to Ochaco with a smile. "But ever since I met Ochaco, she made it into a name that gives me inspiration"
"D-Deku!" she said clearly embarrassed, but Izuku didn't seemed to notice.
"Woah, so you two are like childhood friends?" Eijiro asked.
"Yeah, ever since kindergarten. We both had the same dream to become heroes at UA," Izuku answered before slightly lowering his head. "But..."
Judging by the look on his face, Eijiro could tell it didn't work out well for both of them, so he said, "Hey, it's cool man. I understand completely"
"Thanks," Izuku said raising his head with a smile, along with Ochaco who got over her embarrassment. The two of them, along with Mina and Eijro smiled at one another and then turned back to pay attention to the tour. As they walked, they were introduced to many different sections of the campus. First, they got glimpses of each classroom and how they were laid out. The four teens were even shocked when they heard that each desk contained a laptop computer, linked directly to the school's systems and WIFI. Just when some students got some ideas, Vice Principal Zuberg flat out stated that each laptop has a microchip that prevents them from leaving the classroom, so if anyone tried to sneak them out, security would know on the spot.
They were even shown the Gym building, where countless exercise equipment were laid out, and even an indoor pool which made Eijiro actually squeal.
After that, they were brought to the cafeteria, just in time for when they would normally go for lunch at their other schools. Both principals explained that the chefs they have trained alongside the pro hero Lunch Rush, who currently works at UA High. The students were awed as they eyed the menu and all the selections.
