Carrying a cup of tea from the kitchen, Marinette sat on the couch in the living room and breathed a huge sigh.
"Whew, being a mom and a CEO really takes a lot of a lady. Now I can just relax and watch some TV till Adrien gets back," she said before taking up the remote and turning on the TV. Luckily it was already set to a news station because it displayed a woman holding a microphone to her mouth in front of a cameraman. Sipping her hot cup of tea she listened as the woman in front of the camera spoke.
"We are currently live at the scene where apparently a high school boy, with a quirk that gives him the ability to turn his whole body into different types of rocks, was wreaking havoc in the city," the reporter said with a straight face.
"Whoa, I guess it was a good thing that the local heroes were there to deal with him," Marinette said taking another sip of tea.
"Fortunately, the boy was saved by two brave young superheroes, who apparently broke his weapon which weirdly contained a black butterfly inside of it," the reporter once again said with a straight face. Just hearing the two words 'Black Butterfly' caused Marinette to open her eyes so wide that she accidentally choked on the tea she was drinking and began coughing so hard that she had to punch her chest just so she could get air through her windpipes. Finally recovering, she rubbed her belly and looked back onto the screen where apparently the person holding the camera moved its focus from the reporter up to the air. Looking closely she saw something flapping in the air with purplish black coloring. Squinting her eyes, she was finally able to make out the figure because her eyes widened like flying saucers.

"Oh no, an Akuma!" Marinette said stumbling back onto the couch in a panic. "Oh my God, does that mean someone here in Japan has found the Butterfly Miraculous and is using it for evil purposes again"
She then heard the sound of the front door opening and closing followed by the sound of a big sigh.
"Hey I'm home and I got the groceries," the sound of her husband's voice entered her ears as he came into view with bags full of food and gently placed them on the kitchen counter. "Man Marinette, you would not believe the day I..."
"Adrian come look at this!" she shouted not allowing him to finish his sentence. Caught off guard, you ready yet you should have pulled on them Adrian rushed to his wife's side and followed her gaze to the TV. Upon seeing the Akuma flying in the air, he choked on his breath.
"Aw man, whoever has the Butterfly Miraculous wasted no time releasing an Akuma," he said. Hearing this, Marinette looked at them with a questionable look.
"I never even said anything about the Akuma or the Butterfly Miraculous and yet he's talking like he expected this," she said to herself before looking at her screen again to see something else shocking.
