Chapter - 8

Weeding was followed by a small reception. Throughout the event Bella had small courteous smile on her face.

All the family had occupied the one big dining table.

"Ah I'm so happy, finally you are settled down. Both of you take care of each other. You guys may face hurdle in life but you have to overcome it together, trust me my babies, you will conquer the world if your partner is besides you" said Evan's mother.

Everyone finished their dinner feeling contented except Evan and Bella.

When it's time to leave the venue. Grandma gave a last glance to Bella and Evan, with her glistening eyes she bid them goodbyes.

A car was waiting for them, Bella and Evan entered in the car and left.

POV Evan

Why do I feel so awkward, remeber Evan, you have done this to make her suffer. But she was looking absolutely stunning in that dress.

Even that asshole David complimented her. Anyway, she is my wife now, I will not permit anyone to look at her.

The car ride was totally silent. My eyes were constantly finding their way to her lips, focus Evan focus, but those lips looks so lucious.

So far, I have realized that when she's nervous she bites on it. And that's fucking drives me crazy.

The car stopped at my penthouse. The servants took our luggage in my room.

"Welcome little bird, in my den and today onwards it's your cage" I said cockily, while sitting on the sofa.

"W..here is my room?" She sked hesitantly. I mischievous smile crafted on my face.

" ..and why do you think that I will give you a separate bedroom?"

I slowly made my way towards her like a predator.

She started walking backwards and fell on the sofa behind her. I moved closer to her, she tried to push me away, I grabbed her both wrists, our faces were inches away.

I could feel her struggling, so l made my grip tight on her wrists and slowly made my lips slightly brush her right earlobe and whisper huskily,

"you're my wife baby, we'll share a same room, understand?"

She nodded slowly "words baby words" "Y..y..esss"

I pulled myself away with a victorious smile and went to my room. It's just a beginning little bird, there is more to come. 

With the corner of my eyes I saw, she sighed and started following me. I directly went to my walk in closet.

I saw her entering in the room. I went to the bathroom to do my business, later I changed myself in comfortable t-shirt and pants. 

I came outside, where I saw Bella was standing there in her wedding gown, her back was facing me.

I slowly made my way towards her, I think she sensed me coming towards her, she abruptly turned and before I could say anything she ran to the bathroom.

I could only chuckle at her, I like the way she reacts towards me. This should be absolute fun little bird.

POV Bella

I just ran to bathroom, I don't want to spend even a single second alone with him. But what do I do? The way he said its my cage, what does it mean?

Will he make me his slave? Or anything else, I have no idea at all.

To be honest, I'm scared alot but I will not show it to him. I will face him bravely. I will not let him harrass me.

So, Mr Evan Knight, I am ready for this battle.

I took my leisure time in the bathroom. I wore my cute Cartoon printed pajama and went outside.

There I saw him, sitting on the bed with a laptop on his lap. Oh god, who works on his wedding night. Not that I want him to do anything but seriously.

He lifted his head, when he realized I came out of bathroom. Does he ever smile? I swear to god, even his parents had not seen him smiling.

When our eyes met, he indicated me with his two fingers, to go near him. I hesitantly stepped towards him and stand at handful of distance.

He handed me paper, I was confused at his actions. I took the paper from his hands and started reading.

He handed me list of his likes and his schedule, like the time for his coffee when he goes to gym, when he needs lunch etc.

"Why are you giving me this list? I am not really interested in your schedule nor I want to know about your liking and disliking."

As soon as the words left my mouth a devilish smirk appeared on his face. Aahh..... this is not good.

"Oh trust me wife, you are going to need that, because from tomorrow onwards you will take care of my needs. So be a good wife and take care  of your husband"

"Are you out of your mind, you wake up at 4 in the morning and the first thing you need is warm water to drink. You expect me to wake up that early to give you warm water, you gotta be kidding me" I hissed in a frustration.

"Oh and did I mention, I need my gym clean every day, before and after my workout, so you need to take care of that as well" I said cockily.

I just want to bang his head on the wall. Oh I so hate him. Then I noticed something in his schedule. It's clashing my work timings.

" I cannot bring your luch to your office, I have my office too" I stated.

"Oh yeah you have office right, but wife you didn't check your emails today, did you?" I narrowed my eyes at confusion.

I took my phone and opened my email. When I check my inbox my eyes widened. Tears started to form in my eyes.

I have received a termination letter from my company.

"What?...but How? I don't understand this" I said to no one.

"So the problem solved, you can bring my lunch in the office wife" Evan said like he already knows about it.

"You did this right, how could you? I needed that job desperately. How am I supposed to earn money? Grandma still needs my help".

I can't afford to lose my job, I have some plan for my future. Everything is totally ruin because of him.

"I'm very well aware about your needs little bird, that's why I did this. Remember when I said you have to pay for everything.

You thought I would not do anything. But you just wait and watch, what I will do to you" he said with pure hatred.

"Please try to understand, grandma is still not good. Moreover I don't want her to work. I need a job Evan, you can't do this to me." I begged in crying voice.

He took a moment to think before he he speaks " in that case, I will pay for the work you are doing for me

but.. but.. but.. if you fail to do even a single work I will deduct the money from your salary, understood my little wife" I had no option but to nod at his proposal.

"Very well, then goodnight" Satisfied with my answer he  laid on the bed and turned off the lights.

I was left there standing, in the middle of darkness. Thinking reason behind, me deserving this harsh life.

Great on my wedding night I received a great gift. If this is beginning, I'm afraid to face future now. I could see, all my bravery is disappearing.

I slowly turned around and went to couch, I laid myself there. After crying for sometimes I didn't realized when I fell asleep.
