POV Evan
Today I have an important meeting to attend. I was already late, and my wife is literally laughing her ass out on this, of course on video call.
It became our habit to video call each other on every morning and night.
"Stop it babe, you know I slept late yesterday because of you, so I woke up late"
"Hahaha but you completed your exercise, your morning routine just fine, just say that you forgot about the meeting husband"
I just rolled my eyes. I indeed forgot about it that's why Im running here and there in the room.
"Where is my wallet?" I asked myself frustratedly.
"In the closet Evan, right hand side second drawer" Bella reminded me.
"Oh yes, thank you" I rushed towards closet, took my wallet and came back to my laptop.
"Got it babe, ah what would I do with you?... Okay babe! I think I need to leave now, take care of yourself.. don't forget to get medicine.. bye.. I will call you later" I gave her a flying kiss.
"Okay don't take stress, but eat your breakfast before going... bye" she smile and we hung up the call.
I went to office, attended the meeting. During luch I called my little bird but she didn't answer my call. I thought she must be busy.
In the evening too I called her but again she didn't pick up my call. I went to her house.
Everyday after finishing office I come here, to convince grandma but she just wouldn't budged.
While I was on my way to Bella, I received a call from my dad. I picked it up.
"Hello dad"
" Evan, where are you?"
"Oh I'm going to Bella's house dad"
"Evan you should come home first, there is something you need to see "
"What happened dad? is everything okay?"
"Come home, son"
What happened, dad would never call me so urgently if it wouldn't have been urgent matter.
I reached home, dad and mom were sitting in the living room. Their faces looks tense.
"Mom, dad what happened"
"Sit Baby" said mom
"Amm Evan, Mrs Watson visit us in the afternoon" dad started speaking.
"She handed us this.." he pushed some papers towards me.
I checked anxiously, I don't want it to be 'those' papers. I carefully opened it. When I saw the first page, my fear turned into reality.
It was divorce papers. And to my worst it signed by Bella.
"Mrs Watson, even warned you, not to go to their house anymore" said dad
I didn't know what to say, my voice just stucked in my throat, I felt it dried and a lump formed.
No, No I can't be weak now, we just talked in the morning, I never thought Bella would signed the papers.
Wait what if, grandma forced her to do it... Yeah, yeah that's should be the case. I need to go and see her.
"Evan, Evan, EVAN" my mother shook my hand and I was snapped out of my thought.
"Mo..mom I..I need to g..go see Bella" I said it in hoarse voice and hurriedly left the house with those papers in my hand.
