Chapter - 21

POV Bella

What the actual fuck, Evan fucking Knight is kissing me. I have caught off guard, I don't know what to do. An electricity ran throughout my body, I shivered under his touch. His lips are softly moving on my lips, my mind is completely blank. I remained there frozen.

I gasped when he lightly bit on my tongue, he took the advantage of it and entered his tongue. He deepened the kiss, I simply closed my eyes and surrender.

I tried to follow his actions, his tongue fight for dominance, I unconsciously wrapped my hand around his neck. I ran my fingers on his hairs.

I pulled his hair when I was short of oxygen, he dejectedly pull apart, but our foreheads were still touching.

I can feel his breath on my wet lips. My heart was racing faster than any of the bullet train.

"E..evan" I tried to say.

"Just don't say anything baby, I know it was sudden move but I couldn't control myself."

He gave me a small peck on my lips and sat back straight.

" Bella.." he called and took my hand in his, interlocked our fingers.

"Thank you for giving me a chance, I will take you back to our home. Now, I have to convince mom, dad and grandma."

I could see sincerity in his eyes, I know, I know he did very bad things to me, but my heart is telling me to believe him. I looked at him and nodded in assurance.

Suddenly, my phone started to ring, it was grandma. I panicked.

"Evan I have to go, grandma is calling"

He nodded "Fine, but promise me you're going to call me and you will take care of yourself. I will soon visit her"

I said good and hurriedly went inside the house. I was welcomed with grandma's glare.

"Did he leave?" she asked

"Yes" I murmured.

She sighed, shook her head and went to kitchen to prepare dinner. I offered help but she strictly refused me. So I went back to my room.

As soon as I entered room, I recollect the memory in the car, my cheeks started to heat, my ears felt hot.

He kissed me, and I didn't protest. Am I doing right thing? Why does he wants me? Is it just lust or does he like me? Does he l..love me? No no Evan will not fall in love, its too early to say those.

My chains of thoughts were interrupted by phone call. It was mom.

"Hello mom"

"Hi sweetheart, did you reach safely?"

"Yes mom"

"Emm Bella, I called you for apologising. I feel terrible, I couldn't even think Evan could do such a horrible things to you. Im so sorry sweety. I failed as a mother, I completely failed" She said sobbing.

Hearing her apologising, breaks my heart, tears started to form in my eyes as well.

"Mom no please, don't say that. You dod not fail mom, you raised him well, he took care of in Greece, I agree, initially we did not get along but he changed mom. I couldn't ask more, I wouldn't have survived without him mom, he was the one who make me sane."

"Really sweety? are we still talking about the same Evan, that's really surprised me. Do you know Bella, when I first saw you guys together I felt that you guys are made for each other, I could see the connection. Bella if you don't mind can I request you something?"

"Yes mom, you can ask me anything "

"Can you please give him a chance, can you please give this marriage a chance? I want you guys to work out this marriage. I know him, he will get what he wants, he acts recklessly however, I also know one thing you can change him. You can teach him to love, please Bella, just give him last chance " she literally begged me.

"Mom please dont say please, and to tell you the truth, I already gave him a chance to redeem his actions and please don't worry I will try to convince my grandma too."

" Thank you baby, thank you, I will come tomorrow to meet you, okay. Take care of yourself."

"Yes mom, I will, you too take care of yourself, tell dad that I miss him." She just chuckled and hung up the call.

POV Evan

Fuck, I want to taste her lips again, I don't even know how I control myself back there, I just wanted to take there itself.

What is happening to me, I couldn't think straight. Twenty four hours all I could think is Bella. Oh my little baby bird, what are you doing to me.

With a smile on face I entered in my house, usually mom always welcome me but they both are very sad. I decided to talk to them first.

I came downstairs when it was dinner time, mom and dad were already there. They noticed me but didn't bother to looked at me.

"Mom dad.." I called them, as expected no reply.

I finished my dinner hurriedly, I wanted to talk to them. I know after dinner mom and dad sits in garden.

After dinner they were in garden, to be honest I was nervous, I made my way to garden.

"Mom.. dad.." I again call them. Mom just sighed and started to leave.

I grabbed her wrist

"mom please, listen me, I'm so sorry mom, I was stupid mom. Bella slapped me in public, I was being rude to her. Therefore I decided to take this silly revenge. Above all you guys were also pestering me about marriage, I thought it's perfect opportunity to teach a lesson to Bella so, I blackmailed her with grandma's health and asked her to marry me, She agreed. I know, I shouldn't have hurt her. Please forgive me, mom, but I have realized my mistake.

Believe me mom, when she was kidnapped by that fucking psycho, I was so scared to death. I couldn't bare seeing her in pain mom, please, give me just one last chance to prove myself. The thought of staying without her drives me crazy mom. I begged you.

Dad please, I will not ask anything from you, I will behave but don't separate me from her."

I said it to them, I'm at the verge of crying. Bella, look what you have done to me baby. I just can't leave without you.

Mom turned to me, she lifted my chin, cupped my face with one hand and wiped the first tear that rolled down to my cheek.

"You changed Evan, she changed you. This is not the Evan whom I knew earlier, who was careless, little brat. Im glad, that you chose Bella. She brings out the best in you. My baby are even realizing it that you started to love her.

Hon, are you seeing this, our son is begging us. Can you imagine this?" She said to dad.

I turned to dad made my way towards him, he was standing there with his stoic face.

"Dad, please just one last chance to your stupid son." I said in hopeful voice.

He looked at me straight in the eye, searching for any deceitful intention. However I'm sure, he would find none.

"If you messed up this time, I will definitely kill you with my gun."

A smile crafted on my face. Im not that touchy person but for the first time I excitedly hugged my dad.

"Thank you dad, thank you"

"Oh my god, did you just hug your dad?" Said mom amusingly.

I quickly pull myself, I changed my expression to cold one, feeling embarassed I touched my non itchy nose.

Mom came, kissed my cheek and hugged me, she extended a hand to dad to join the hug.

"The next time we hug, I want my daughter-in-law with us, is that clear?" Said mom.

I nodded vigorously. I promise them that I will bring back their daughter-in-law. Now, I just have to convince grandma and that could be a tedious job.

Anyway, it's time to come back home wifey..
