Chapter - 29

POV Author

Evan stomach growled when he was on his way to meet Mr Alvaro. He saw a cafe on the roadside so, he told Alejandro to stop his car nearby parking.

Evan got off the car and entered in cafe, he gave his order on the counter and was waiting for the same.

Suddenly his eyes caught a familiar figure, it was Bella and Luis talking with each other.

They were quite far from Evan but clearly visible. He stood there afar watching Bella. She looked contented smiling and dazzling.

Evan lip lifted upward seeing her smile and bubbly. But eventually, his expressions changed, Evan clenched his fist and jaw, he saw Bella was blushing looking at Luis, she even hit his arm.

However, a thought appeared in his mind, he thought Bella never smile like this when she was with him which made him sad. All he gave her is sadness.

"You are happy baby, I can't take away your happiness. Even though you have no idea how much I want to rip apart that asshole however, if he is making you happy I ready to let you go. I hate to admit it but when I say forget me like a nightmare I was right, I  indeed was your nightmare love. But one thing that, I can't change my little bird is that...... Loving you "

"Yes I know, I was stupid enough not to admit it before, I agree with you my love I am asshole like you said."

Evan thought all there things in his mind. Suddenly, his name was call to receive the order.

He took his coffee and sandwich, gave a last glance to his love and left the premises with hint of tear lingering in the corner of his eyes.

In a big conference room Evan was waiting with his secretary, for arrival of Mr. Alvaro. After some time, Mr Alvaro entered in the conference hall followed by his secretary and his interpreter.

Bella's eyes widened when she saw Evan in front of her. She realised it was Evan with whom her boss Mr Alvaro has conference with.

Evan too was taken a back seeing Bella, he maintained his professional face.

They started the conference, Evan made a proposal for Mr Alvaro for his investment in his new product, that will launch in Spain.

Bella was attentively noting each and every details and explaining to Mr Alvaro.

After 2 intensive hours, they finally conclude their meeting. Mr Alvaro agreed to invest in Knight Enterprises.

Signing the contract both the businessmen sealed their deal.

POV Bella

Evan cracked his deal with Mr Alvaro, it's my very first time seeing him fulfilling  his CEO duties.

He looks so sexy in that three piece suit. His voice was husky but polite enough to catch the attention of Mr Alvaro.

I'm so proud of my baby. I chirped.

...but wait, he is leaving just like that without even looking at me. We did share one or two talks during meeting.

But that was all work talks, I don't want him to leave yet. Then, I remember yesterday's incident. That's the reason he is not even sparing me a glance.

I didn't think twice, my legs worked automatically, I ran down through hallway to stop him.

I saw him, when he was about to exist the building I called his name.

Evan....

His step halted, he turned to face me. i hurried my steps to reach him.

"Yes Ms. Bella, is there anything left to discuss?" asked his secretary
