Chapter - 19

POV Bella

I feel empty Inside, I know I made everyone worried, but I swear I just wanted to sleep for a bit. There are some voices inside my head, I want then to stop.

So I took a pill, then again there are these voices provoked me to consume more so thant I could sleep soundly. Then, I did it... After that I do not remember anything.

When I opened my eyes, I was in hospital, doctor informed me I have taken overdose of sleeping which could kill me.

Then I saw mom and grandma entered in room, from their words I realised that they got to know, Evan told them everything, whatever happened in Greece.

Mom told me how Evan was worried, my eyes were searching for him. When I saw him, he was totally in disarray, I knew there, I made a mistake, I shouldn't have done that, making everyone worried.

Evan came to me, he admitted that he has done wrong with me, but a thing made my heart bleed is that he blames himself for everything.

That time I was so overwhelmed with emotions, I couldn't say anything to him. But I dont want him to think like this.

No it wasn't his fault at all, I never blamed him. This is not right, that moment I decided, I will fight with this fear I have.

I saw Evan was talking with grandma outside, I couldn't hear them, but I could tell Evan's face was full of sadness and regrets.

Mom and grandma was by my side all the time. After sometime dad came to me.

"Im very angry with you, you know? " He said

"I know dad, I'm sorry, I will not do this again" I said apologetically.

"You scared me sweetheart" he said and kissed my forehead.

They all love me so much, I was fool to do this mistake. Now, I will make sure that I fight back to my demons.

Doctor instructed me to do few sessions with psychiatrist. I agreed to it. I was feeling kind of weakness, in the night grandma stayed with me in the hospital. I told her to go home, but she didn't listen.

But problem is that I couldn't sleep, I miss Evan, it was our habit to sleep in each other's arm. My mind stays calm in his embrace. I miss him terribly. Why isn't he here? Is he busy?

"Grandma, could you pass me the phone? I want to call Evan"

She hesitated first and said "Cupcake, he must be busy, you need to rest, you are still weak, come on"

"But grandma...."

"No Bella, I'm not going to listen to you, just sleep"

she said it in stern voice this time. I don't know, grandma never raised her voice on me. But when I asked her about Evan she just shrugged.

He must be really busy, after becoming CEO I saw his work stress, besides he also needs to take care of me. I don't want to disturb him, he also needs his rest.

POV Author

In the next morning Evan's parents visited her. They all were concerned about her.

"How are you feeling sweety?" Asked Mrs. Knight

"Better, mom thanks for coming". Bella smiled at her in-laws.

Mr Knight just simply hugged her, kissed her forehead and gave her small smile. Bella has surely made a special place in his heart.

"Mom where is Evan?" Asked Bella

"Ah baby Evan... He.."

"He is out of town, I sent him away for some work" answered Mr Knight.
