Chapter - 26

POV Evan

I pleasant air brush on my face, I closed my eyes to feel it. As soon as I got out of plane my ride was already waiting for me.

"Bienvenido Sr. Knight" (welcome Mr Knight) said my new secretary.

I just nodded him in response, I understand basic Spanish. Only if my little bird were here, she would have been my great help. I would have make her my secretary, so that she could stay with me for 24 hours.

I sighed on my thoughts. There is nothing I could possibly do. I took one day to settle around.

Next day before going to factory I visited Mr Rodriguez as per my dad's instructions, he did recognise me, but couldn't say anything. I talked with his family. In fact my secretary Alejandro is son of Mr Rodriguez.

After that I went straight to the factory. Alejandro already brief me about all required information.

I talked with the workers, told them I would come up with new plan to save this business. They were seems motivated.

I returned to my office, and strated working on it. I took a meeting with each and every department, gave them few instructions.

I followed this routine for almost two weeks and I could already see the results. Although we are lacking in our marketing department, but I would make sure it will change soon.

I believe, Spain is really suiting me. My little bird once told me, how much she wanted to visit spain. In fact I wanted to take her to Spain on our first anniversary.

Tomorrow is our First anniversary, I touched ring on my finger, remembering her beautiful face. A smile crafted on my face.

I took a day off next day, I want to spend this day with myself. I decided to roam around the city of Barcelona.
However, my sweet plan was interrupted by dad's call.

"Evan, you have to attend this event host by one of the best businessman in Spain, and I'm not taking no for answers"

And he hung up...

I sighed, here go my so called little sweet plan. Im sure dad has already told Alejandro, because on the next second, I found him at my doorstep with an invitation to this some buisness tycoon from Spain.

I wore my three piece navy blue suit, comb my hair, gave last look to myself in the mirror. And we left for the event.

It took merely half n hour to reach the venue, it was hosted in some kind of palace. I really wasn't interested, in this even, if it was on some another day, I might have attended it with a bit of professional enthusiasm. But today, *sighed* I mentally groaned.

As we reached to the entrance of this big palace, I changed my facial expressions to straight. There were media outside at the gate, capturing every businessmen, celebrities attending this event.

I got off the car, and went straight inside, not paying attention to any media's questions.

Great! just great, this is how I'm going to celebrate my first fucking anniversary.

As soon as I entered in the event hall, all the eyes turned towards me. I kept the stoic face and walked with a confidence.

Alejandro walked besides me, he directly took me towards the host of the event Mr Alvaro, the most successful businessman of Spain. I have known his name, but this is my first time meeting him in person.

I don't know, how dad know him but nevermind, I will attend this boring even, will do some formal hi hellos and get the fucking out of this place.

When I was walking towards Me Alvaro, I saw a familiar figure standing besides him. A known feeling started to emerging inside me.
The hair on my neck spiked up when that figure cleared to me.
