As the train pulled away
Never did I dream I'd be
Where I am, today!
In your arms where I hoped
Your smile warms my heart
And your gentle ways and lovely days
And we'll never be apart!
Strangers who dared to speak
Now see the path to take
Together, strangers no more
Walk that lovely shore.
