3 months later
"Are you ready for the next adventure?" I asked Sirius. We were standing outside the door of his uncle's old house, now our home. "Born ready" Sirius said as he opened the door and we walked inside. Andromeda had already moved most of our things in there for us. "I have an order meeting, you are more than welcome to come" Sirius said as I rolled my eyes. "We have an order meeting, I'm still a member even through I'm sitting out a while" I said as he nodded. He kissed me and placed a hand on my stomach before we headed to the meeting place. "Cass! You're glowing!" Lily said as she bounded to me. We embraced each other and smiled before pulling away. "That's what being 7 months pregnant will do to you" I said as Molly Weasley nodded, she was there for her brothers but wasn't a member herself. "Ain't that the truth" she agreed. I smiled at the woman. In the short time I'd known her she had been like a second mother to me. "Cass!" James said as he kissed my cheek. "Little Black" he said as he gently placed a hand on my large stomach. "Any day now" he joked with me.
"Try another month or so" I argued. "Remus" I said as I walked over and hugged him. He had gotten more scars since I saw him last. He was still the same Remus though. We pulled away as Dumbledore walked in. "Good to see you all" he said as we stood near our family or spouses. "Welcome to the Order of the Phoenix" he added. I hope you all arrived safely, and your precious cargo is in tact?" Professor Dumbledore said as he looked at me and I smiled. He went over to the plans and I noted every detail. I may not be participating but my husband was. I was worried about him. I placed a hand on my stomach. Sirius must've sensed I was nervous because he placed his hand on my thigh. I smiled at the gesture. The meeting continued on a bit long before ending. "Cass, Sirius, we need to talk with you" Lily said as we walked over to her and James. "We are eloping tonight" she whispered to me as I tried not to cheer. "Where and when?" I asked the ginger girl.
"Now, at Potter Manor" she stated. "We want you to be our witnesses" James added. "We'd be honored" I said as we apparated to the Manor. The ceremony was quick and sweet. Sirius was Best Man while I served as Maid of Honor. We celebrated after. Sirius, James, and Lily went heavy on the Firewhiskey while I enjoyed a nice cup of tea. "Welcome to the Marauders wife club" I told Lily as she hugged me. "Do stay the night?" Lily asked as I shook my head. "We need to get home" I said as Lily nodded. "Travel safe" she said as I nodded. "I love you Lily" I said as I hugged the woman goodbye. I looked and saw Sirius hugging James goodbye. "Ready to go?" I asked him as he nodded. "Till we meet again" I said as me and Sirius apparated home. He picked me up and immediately took me to our bedroom. I laughed the entire way up the stairs. I was living the dream of all dreams.
