"How was your day Pup?", Jungkook asked the little wolf sitting on her car seat at the back
of the car.
The alpha had picked her from Jung Hoseok's cottage, the beta fussing over him as per usual
while he packed her bag with her stuffed bunny and her favourite blanket.
"Uncle Hobi says you visited the infirmary with him today. Was that fun?"
" Appa", the little girl spoke without looking at her father." You promised to take me to
Auntie Zuyu's shop today. You said we'll pick out our costumes for the festival. I waited but
you didn't come".
"Ahhhhhh", Jungkook mentally slapped himself, remembering that he had indeed promised
his daughter this morning to take her to get her fitted for a hallow festival costume." I'm sorry
pup. Appa got carried away working on the house"
"It doesn't matter", the little girl mumbled." You always forget your promises anyways".
The alpha felt a pang of guilty settle in his gut as he took a peek at the rearview mirror and
saw that Ari was looking out of the window. He knew Ari didn't say and not would she ever
say it but if she had been older enough, she would have said something like 'If eomma was
here, she would never forget her promises' and that was true.
Jeon Mi-Yeon never broke a promise or forgot a single detail of something that was
important.
That was just one trait that Jungkook loved about her apart from her other extraordinary
talents.
"Ari-ah won't you look at Appa and tell me how your day went?", Jungkook tried again,
speaking softly.
"I went to the infirmary with Uncle Hobi"
"Was it fun? Did you like it?"
"I seen the inside of infirmary more than I see you Appa. It's no fun", Ari replied with so
much sas for a four year old that was turning five soon that Jungkook had to do a double take
and stare at her.
"Ah...", the alpha gulped. Apart from inheriting all of Mi-Yeon's features, Ari had also
inherited the his wife's otherwise hot temper that surfaced whenever she was really upset and
right now Jungkook knew his daughter was upset about him forgetting his promise so there
was only one way to solve the problem. "Why don't we—why don't we stop at the sweets
shop mnh? You can get as many gummy bears as you want"
He saw a glimmer light up the little pup's eye but it died just as fast as it had come.
"I already had sweet snacks for tea", she pouted." I'll spoil my dinner if I eat gummies. Uncle
Hobi says it's not goody for my tummy".
"Well uncle Hobi is uncle Hobi and I'm your father so I say we go get gummies and candies",
Jungkook declared and turned the car into the little town.
"Maybe... just this once", Ari agreed but Jungkook saw a big smile spread on her tiny face.
It didn't take long for them to stop at the sweets shop before Jungkook got down and came
