BOUND BY IMPERFECTIONS

Chapter 10

Jungkook waved goodbye to Ari and Zuyu before he went over to the infirmary. Hoseok was

waiting for him at the reception desk when he arrived. The omega nurses at the reception all

blush and not so discreetly check him out while he walked over to the beta.

"You still got it", Hoseok smirked when the alpha reached him.

Jungkook who was still very oblivious to the change in the atmosphere raised an eyebrow.

"What?"

"You still have an effect on the young omegas like you had back in the days", Hoseok

chuckled and Jungkook rolled his eyes with a small smile.

"Thank goddess I got married early then", he muttered and bought up his hand that still had

his wedding band on." This won't be coming off in awhile".

Hoseok scoffed." Of course! Everyone knows that".

"I'm just saying", Jungkook shrugged and the beta patted him on his back.

"Let's go?", Hoseok asked." They're in his room...Tae had insisted on trying to help him write

and I bought out some alphabet books of the kids so he could trace over the letters".

"How is that going?", Jungkook asked as he followed beside the beta." Is he getting any

good?"

"It's just the first day Jungkook", the beta replied." If he can keep it up and practice for

awhile, he should be able to write just fine ".

"How about talking?", The alpha asked as they walked around a corner and reached the

patient wards." When do you think he'll start talking?".

"I don't know for sure", there was a hint of doubt in Hoseok's voice." He can form words but

when he opens his mouth, nothing comes out".

"That's not normal right?", Jungkook questioned and the beta nodded.

"Not at all", Hoseok nodded. He came to stop at a door and turned to Jungkook." This is it...I

also forgot to mention something else I found weird on his second examination".

"What was it?"

"He has no scent", Hoseok whispered, his eyes emphasizing how weird that would be." The

first time when he came in, I thought it was because of how much blood he has lost and how

his fur stunk of the forest but everytime I visited him to do his daily check up, it kept bugging

me that he only smelled of the forest he had been in....."

"And today?"

"He smells like nothing at all", the beta relayed." No scent whatsoever. I'll have to look up his

wolf type but in the meantime, can you ask him where he's from?"

Jungkook nodded. That's weird. A wolf with no scent? Was that why he had survived in the

West Coast forest? Because he could hide his scent? What kind of wolf has that ability?

The alpha shook his head and nodded for Hoseok to open the door. Jungkook took a step into

the room and sniffed discreetly just to prove Hoseok's point. Sure enough he couldn't only
