The silence stretched on as the revelation registered in Taehyung's mind. The Omega's
posture flattered a little and he held Jimin's hand to steady himself.
"Wha-at do you mean eo-omma?"He laughed nervously but there was no hint of humor in his
eyes or voice and Jimin could feel his friend shaking slightly." If he was my father then—
then why did you think Minie was him? What are you saying eomma?".
Taehyung's mother ran a hand through her hair and took a seat on the cushion still looking at
Jimin with a burning rage in her eyes. She gestured to Taehyung to take a seat. The omega sat
down slowly, pulling Jimin with him onto the couch.
Jimin was still in shock and shaken at the older woman screaming her head off at him. He
was also slightly shaking at his core as he sat down.
"Eomma", Taehyung prompted, looking at his mother with his eyebrows raised." Why did
you just yell at Jiminie and call him the name of the person that's supposed to be my
father?....You said he doesnt matter and i don't need to know about him but now you're
accusing jimin of looking like him and i'm beginning to think you didn't want to just meet
Jimin but you wanted to confirm something else so what was it?"
The older omega's glare landed once more on Jimin and the omega flinched, slowly moving
behind Taehyung's shoulder.
"—and I would appreciate it if you stop glaring at Jimin," Taehyung snapped, bringing his
mother's focus back to him." What's wrong with you today Mother? You don't usually act like
this!"
"I knew it the moment I saw his picture", Taehyung's mother muttered with a bitter tone,
glancing momentarily at the two omegas." I just had to confirm that it was him........".
Taehyung squeezed Jimin's hand and tried to calm himself down before releasing a steady
breath.
"You're not making sense Mum", the omega said." Can you start from the beginning—so that
both Jimin and I will understand what you're talking about".
The elder omega nodded." I suppose you are right, I do have to start at the beginning to make
it make sense although I suppose I know who his—Jimin's—parents are if he looks like this".
"Yo-ou do?", Jimin managed to choke out." You know who my—my real parents are?".
The omega looked up in confusion." Well, don't you? "
"Eomma, it's a long story which Jimin himself will tell after you've explained to us what you
are trying to say", Taehyung spoke, cutting his mother's inquiry off." Go on, we're listening".
The elder omega took a deep breath and released it before looking off into a past memory.
