BOUND BY IMPERFECTIONS

Chapter 26

Jimin relaxed into his seat as the movie started. He was sitting on the right side of Ari while

Alpha Jeon sat on the left side. The little pup sat between them and she seemed to be really

happy tonight which made Jimin's heart glad because he didn't want her to remember what he

had tried to make her understand this morning.

Of course he had no intention of leaving her but even he knew that when the time came and

Alpha Jeon had finally gotten a mate, he would be asked to leave Ari.

It's what must be done. His wolf said solemnly and Jimin agreed with her.

It's for the best that I tell her so she's aware that I won't be around forever. Jimin reassured

himself and his omega but somewhere deep down, his stomach waa dropping at the idea of

leaving Ari.

"What are you thinking about?", Ari's small voice broke into his jumbled up thoughts.

Jimin shook his head." Nothing Pup, focus on the movie, will you?".

"You're not focused in the movie", Ari pointed out and Jimin chuckled.

"Okay, I will focus now" , he replied and wiggled in his seat a little. Ari grinned before she

too tried to wiggle in her seat and accidentally knocked over the bucket of popcorn she had

been cuddling.

"Oops!", She whispered, a glint if mischief playing in her eyes as she turned to her father

who offered his Popcorn bucket to her instead. The pup happily accepted it and settled down

again but not before gesturing for her father and Jimin to help themselves to the popcorn she

was holding.

Jimin didn't catch up on the little stunt Ari was trying to pull off but the stunt didn't happen

for some minutes until he put his hand absentmindedly into the popcorn bucket the same time

that Aloha Jeon put his in.

Jimin thought he felt a shock of electricity run up his palm as he jerked his hand away and

looked at the alpha in alarm.

"I-uh—go ahead alp—Jungkook", the omega stuttered badly as a blush creeped up his

cheeks. Alpha Jeon seemed unfazed by it or maybe he felt it too but if he did , he didn't show

any aign of it.

Jimin turned to see Ari giggling away at what had just happened. The omega gave a playful

glare at the pup and mounted for her to not pull this stunt again.

After the movie, they got ice cream at a nearby ice cream shop before Jungkook drove them

back home.

"Do you guys want dinner or are you too tired for it?", The alpha asked and Jimin shook his

head. Ari was already drifting off to sleep while hugging his arm and he felt full from all the

food he had that afternoon.

"I'm alright and I think Ari is really tired out", Jimin replied." I'll take her up to bed and leave

some cookies for her beside her bed unless she wakes up hungry in the middle of the night".
