Jungkook could tell that Zuyu was annoyed at Ari creating a barrier between him and her. He
gave her an apologetic smile as if to say 'kids right?' but what did she know about kids
anyways? He was just thankful he had raised a pup that had her head screwed on straight or
maybe Jimin had been teaching her to go to his rescue if he was feeling hopeless, either way,
he had never been prouder of Ari-Yeon. The pup snuggled up to him and hugged him tightly
as she watched her favourite cartoon.
"So.....", Zuyu said, taking a sip of her wine that she had asked Hae-sul to bring out for her.
"When do you plan for us to go next?".
"Mmh? What?", The alpha asked, cocking an eyebrow." Are we supposed to be going
somewhere?"
"Our next date silly!", Zuyu bursted out laughing." Where are you planning for us to go? The
month is nearly ending and there will be some really great sights to be seen for the
welcoming of June".
"Ahhh", The alpha nodded." I haven't given it some thought yet.....but how about you choose
somewhere mmh? I'm sure you have an eye for lovely places".
"You want me to choose a place?", the omega replied, disbelif lacing her tone as she sat up
much straighter." Don't you think that's a little weird? You're the one courting me, not the
other way around...you should be the one trying to win me over but it seems like you're not
even trying".
"What do you mean Zuyu?", Jungkook asked, his voice guarded as he glanced across at the
omega." I am trying, really trying to give you a chance okay ? but you cannot expect me to be
all lovey dovey all over you because you know I don't love you....."
"I know you don't love me but at least try harder!", the omega growled lowly." You're the one
who chose me instead of anyone else! So you gotta put in some effort into getting to know
me on a much personal level"
Jungkook cocked his head in confusion." Zuyu-ah, you knew what you were getting into
when you agreed to let me court you. Why are you being like this all of a sudden?"
"Oh I don't know! I would like if you at least smiled at me—"
"I do smile —"
"A genuine smile Jeon Jungkook!", The omega snapped and stood up." I would appreciate if
you smiled at me without looking like someone has you on gunpoint!".
"Zuyu—wait! Where are you going?", Jungkook asked and slowly got up as the omega
collected her things.
"I'm going home", Zuyu stated as she walked out, Jungkook following behind her.
"Well at least let me drive—"
"No", the omega replied." You shouldn't have invited me over for a movie night if we just
going to be watching cartoons all night! I DON'T EVEN LIKE GRINCH FOR GODDESS
SAKE!".
