Surprisingly Taehyung's mother was still awake when they barged into her living room. The
older omega seemed to have been pacing back and forth with a cup clasped between her
hands.
"Taehyung", she said absentmindedly when she saw her son and then Jimin walked in along
with Hoseok.
"Mum....? What's wrong?", Jimin could hear the excitement die in his brother's voice when
the omega saw the state his mother was in." Are you okay? Why are you pacing back and
forth for?".
The omega gave him a sad smile and stopped momentarily to gesture for them to take a seat
before she continued her pacing.
"What brings you home pup?", She finally said as she took a seat and glanced at the party in
her living room.
Taehyung produced the envelope containing their DNA test and offered it to his mother.
"We got a DNA test done just to be sure", the omega explained." It's true..... Jimin and I do
share the same father".
"I never doubted that you were half-sibblings the first time I saw him", the older omega said
but still she pulled the paper out and read through the contents before slipping it back inside
and laying the envelope flat on the little coffee table." Is that all you came to say?".
Taehyung looked taken aback at his mother's calmness but Jimin didn't blame her. She did
say there was a possibility of his father being Taehyung's father as well when he first met Mrs
Kim.
"Well yes.......", Taehyung answered slowly." I thought you would be happy to hear that
mother....that I finally have someone to call my brother—"
"Blood doesn't change the fact that he is a totally different person from you, son", his mother
interrupted and stood up. She glanced at Hoseok." Would you like some tea, Doctor Jung?"
Hoseok seemed startled at the formal name and quickly nodded, offering the older woman a
small smile. Jimin watched the exchange quietly and figured out that maybe he wasn't the
only one in this house at the moment that Taehyung's mother didn't approve of.
"Mother! How could you say that!", The other omega interjected. He stood up and followed
his mother to the kitchen.
"She doesn't seem too fond of you", Hoseok muttered with a glance at Jimin." Your father
must've fucked her life over so bad for her to hold such a huge grudge.... imagine asking the
person you were lying to, to look after your son because of the war. I bet she was livid but
maybe she wanted to do the right thing and then you didn't turn up as planned and that
probably pissed her off some more......"
"I don't think she's very fond of you either", Jimin grinned with a knowing look." .... Doctor
Jung?".
Hoseok huffed." She'll get over it...it's not like we seduced Tae into falling in love with us.
