Sehar toh nahi gai ....khet dekhne chalogi ....he asked and I grinned.

6 hi toh baje hai ....8 Tak aa jayege vaapis ......He said .

(Now ...
It's 6 pm only and we will be back by 8...)

Maa sa .....I pouted and he laughed pulling my nose .
Chalo .....Koi kuch nahi kahega and kuch kahe bhi toh saari cheeje Dil pe lene ki jarurat nahi hai ....
Dheere dheere tumhe bhi addat ho jaayegi .......He said and I nodded.

Maa sa didn't seem pleased as I assumed but this time I just followed him .
Kaki sa smiled at me and I grinning back at her ..

He helped me to get into the Jeep and started driving towards the fields .
I looked around the village taking in the view through my veil enjoying the ride .

People were greeting him as we passed and few young girls waved at us making me giggle.

Khamma Ghanni hukum .......a man named Dharam Singh in his early fifties greeted him .
His wife and daughter came out too as they saw me .

Bindani saa bhi aai hai aaj ..........His wife exclaimed happily making me smile.
I greeted them folding my hands my face covered with veil .

(Your wife has also come today )

He chatted with Dharam Singh meanwhile I followed his wife and daughter and lifted my veil up .

Aap toh bohot sundar hai Bhabhi sa .....the girl exclaimed making me giggle.
Tum bhi bohot pyari ho ....I said tapping her cheek lovingly and she smiled.

Aaye bathiye na aap khadi kyu hai ....they offered me a bamboo chair to settle down .

Hukum ko itna khus humne pahle khabi nahi dekha hai ......
Sach kahe toh Hume unko dekh k bohot bura lagta tha .......ek insaan jo sab ka bhala karta hai ......uske sukh dukh ka saathi koi nahi .....

(We have never seen Hukum this happy ...
Honestly we used to feel so bad seeing him ...one person is doing everything for others but there was no one to share his happiness and sorrows ...)

Yuvraj sa aur baaki parivar vaale hai ....per koi asa nahi tha jisse vo har cheej keh sake ......
Bade Hukum k jaane k baad Hukum sa kho se gye the .....khud ko kaam kaaj mei dhaal liya .... Khud ka khayal hi nahi rakhte the ......Murti kaki sa (Dharam Singh wife ) told me making me look at him who was busy chatting with Dharm Singh Kaka sa .

(Yuvraj and rest of the family members were there....but he needed some with whom he can share anything....
After his father's demise...he busied himself in work ....not taking care of himself....)

I felt a sudden proud seeing him . Everyone I have met till date spoke high of him and he truly deserves the respect.
I felt blessed to have him as my husband.

He looked at me feeling my gaze and raised his eyebrows asking me if I want something and I just shook my head at my adorable and caring man .

We had tea and later he showed me around.
Ye sab zameen aapki hai .....I asked him standing on the periphery of the crop field.
Aapki nahi ....Humari hai ......He corrected me making me smile.
