Julia hated hospitals. All of them. It was the smell and the stupid lights and how everything was all painted white. She felt like she was dying just stepping into one. But Gemma asked her to be there, so she was going to be there.

"How's your brother doing?" Luanne asked her.

Luanne was a pretty woman that had been hanging around for years. She was a really good friend of Gemma's and owned a porn company called Cara Cara.

"Eli's fine. Still an idiot, but he's a man, so that's not unusual," Julia said.

"You still got that guy running checks on whats-her-face?" Gemma asked.

"Yep. Rob owed me a favor, though it wasn't hard to convince him in the first place. All he's gotta do is follow around a pretty girl and take pictures if she does anything suspicious."

"Sure he won't do anything to her?"

Julia turned to face Gemma, "If that guy doesn't want to end up strung by his balls, he won't even get within an inch of her. I don't like the bitch, but there ain't nothing I hate more than rapists."

Tara walked out into the waiting room with a hopeful expression on her face, making the three women stand up, "Abel's stomach surgery went well. But it's putting a strain on his system. Dr.Namid doesn't want to wait. Thinks we should do the heart surgery now."

"That's good right. That they're not waiting?" Luanne asked.

"It's the best choice. Yes."

"Thanks," Gemma said not all too gratefully.

Gemma made her hatred for Tara well known. Always had and always will. She thought Tara wasn't good enough for Jax. Didn't think she was good enough to be around Julia either. She nearly threw a party when Tara left.

"Can we talk?" Tara stopped Gemma before she could leave.

Gemma handed her bag to Luanne and Julia put her hands in her jeans pockets, "I'll tell Jax the news."

Julia practically ran from the hospital before she pulled out her phone. Before she could even type in the numbers, a text chimed in from Rob. The only thing in the text was a photo attachment showing Cindy kissing a man that most definitely wasn't her brother.

Julia let out an angry laugh, tilting her head back to take a deep breath before she called Jax.

"Jules, we just finished our meeting. Clay doesn't want you on the job. Sorry. You know how he is."

"I couldn't give two fucks right now," her tone was shaking with anger.

"You ok?" Jax could practically feel her rage through the phone.

"You got my back?"

"Yeah. You know I do. What's going on?"

"I might need you to bail me out later."

"What?"

"Actually, you know where Cindy lives. I might need you to stop me before I kill her," Julia hung up the phone.

Julia never could control her anger very well. It's what always got her in trouble.

Julia gripped the crowbar in her gloved hands tight as she stormed up the dirt path towards the expensive car sitting in front of the pretty blue house.

She was so mad that she couldn't stop the grin spreading on her lips as she approached the car and swung hard into the windshield. It shattered immediately. She smashed the crowbar into the hood of the car next, not stopping until it was so dented that she knew it couldn't be repaired easily, if at all.
