The silence had always carried peace between Julia and Jax. That had never been more apparent than in that quiet moment. With Julia settled in Jax's arms, one of his hands tracing up and down her bare back. Her eyes were closed, but she didn't dare fall asleep for fear that this had all just been a dream in the first place. She had never had dreams as nice as this one before.

They could have laid with each other all day, an entanglement of flesh and bone that only existed in that place. Julia's house hadn't felt like a home yet, but strangely enough it did now that he was here with her. Even if it didn't last, she knew she would always be grateful for every moment they would share from then on. But she doubted it would ever end now that they had had a taste of it.

Julia's phone rang on the small table beside her bed and, for a moment, she contemplated just letting it ring or turning it off all together.

Jax reached over and grabbed it, "Eli."

Julia sighed, knowing she couldn't ignore it now, "Shit. Sorry."

"Don't be," Jax handed over her phone, propping his head up on his hand while she sat up and answered the call.

"What can I do for you, little brother?" Julia asked in the calmest, most mellow tone she had ever used in her life.

She supposed pure bliss would do that to you. Take away all the stress of the rest of your life.

"You want me to go that welcome party?" he sounded almost pissed off.

Julia's brows furrowed, "Yeah. You don't have to though. I can't force you."

"If you want me there, I need a favor."

"What?"

"That ATF guy that's been around? Yeah, his name's Kohn. Joshua Kohn. And he's been stalking Tara all the way here from fucking Chicago. I need to know that if the precinct doesn't take care of it, you will. In whatever way you have to."

Julia ran her hand down her face, the stress all seeping back in within seconds, "Fuck. Did you go to Hale about it? Tell anyone at all?"

"No, I was with Tara and I managed to get him to leave her house, but I got called in for some bones found by Water and Power out on 44. I didn't get the time."

"I'll handle it. Just...stay with her as much as you can until it's done," Julia flipped her phone closed and put her head in her hands with a groan.

Jax sat up beside her, "What happened?"

Julia lifted her head, "ATF guy isn't here for us. He's here for Tara. He's been stalking her since she was in Chicago. Eli wants me to handle it if the cops don't. Shit."

Jax's jaw clenched tight in anger, "He thinks Tara came back here for me. That's why he's been coming around Abel, watching us."

Julia got up, pulling her clothes off the floor, "Yep. Eli got called for some bones found on 44 before he could tell Hale."

"Then we'll swing by before we go to the club. This asshole isn't getting away with it."

Julia pulled her clothes on, "Just watch out for yourself too. If he thinks Tara wants to get back with you, and she rejects him, he's gonna get pissed and Tara won't be the only one in the line of fire."

Julia stormed into the police precinct, her eyes immediately catching onto Hale, "Hey!"

Hale looked up, "Julia Madden. What can I do for you?"

"For starters you can keep a leash on your psychotic ATF dog. Kohn, was it?"
