~Chapter Nine~

It's been a year and it's summer time, which means Dipper and Mabel are almost here to visit Stan and Ford for the whole summer. Dipper and Mabel shouted out my name at the same time "Lynn!" I turned around and said "Hey Dipper! Hey Mabel!" Stan came in along with Ford, Mabel said "Guess what, Lynn?!" I said "What, Mabel" and Mabel said "Grunkle Stan told us that we're having a welcome back party!" Dipper said "Yeah, it's Grunkle Stan, Soos and Wendy's idea to have one today", Stan said "And you're invited, Lynn", I shook my head and said "Thank you but I have to decline". Wendy, Soos, Mabel and Dipper shouted at the same time "What?!" I walked away heading to my room and locked my door, I just wanted to be alone and Stan looked at Ford and asked "Is there something wrong with Lynn, Poindexter?" Ford said "I don't know, Stan. I'll talk to her, just wondering what time the party starts?" Mabel said "It starts at 7 pm and there's going to be a karaoke as well" and Ford just nod his head, he was heading to our bedroom and he knocked on the door and said "Lynn, my dear. Please let me in". I sighed and got up walked towards the door, I opened the door and went back to our bed, Ford closed the door and locked it. Ford asked me "Why don't you want to go to the welcome back party?" I looked at Ford and said "Because Ford, I don't know how to dance, okay" and Ford smiled at me and gave me a hug and kiss on my forehead, he said "My dear, it's okay. To be honest, I don't know how to dance either. But you're coming with me to this party because you're my wife and I wanted to spend some time with you" and I said "Fine, Ford. You win, I hated it when you're right".

During the party, Mabel ran up to me and said "Lynn. We're going to do karaoke. Wendy, Grenda, Candy, Dipper, Soos and maybe Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford. Would you like to do one just for fun, please?" I said "Fine. So, who goes first?" Dipper said "I'm going first" and he went over, he picked a song and started to sing...
