02: To Know One Another

Today was a busy morning. You had a lot of things to finish up for work. You're starting to get stressed, your mind lingers to your memories from last week.

You do miss Peke J. and the other animals.

'Maybe I should visit them this Saturday with Sei tomorrow...' You thought.

You've got a date idea on your mind so now you were motivated to work faster.

After a busy week, it was finally Saturday. Sei drove you to the pet shop. Inside the shop was Kazutora and Chifuyu with other customers.

Seems like business is doing well today.

"Oh you're back! Feel free to check out the pets." Greeted Kazutora to the two of you. Sei watched the birds while you talked to Kazutora.

"Babe, look at this. He's cute haha" called out Sei, pointing at the bird dancing in his cage.

Kazutora went up to you guys and he chuckled, "He's lively as always. It seems like he likes you" He was referring to the bird who danced.

Sei seems to be happy to visit the pet shop and that made you happy as well. At the same time, you got to talk with Kazutora, your new friend.

You bid your farewell as you were about to leave now, "Well then, we'll be going now. I'll visit again next time, tell Peke J. I said bye!"

You and Sei decided to go to a cafe to eat lunch together.

The date was so much fun.

You would visit the pet shop with Sei or just by yourself at times, and everytime you do, you get a good conversation with Kazutora and Chifuyu.

There were times when they'd persuade you to buy a pet or to encourage others to visit their shop, but other than advertising, they're a really nice company.

They keep you entertained with all their silly jokes and gossips about life.

You even added them on your social media accounts. It was nice to have new friends, especially if they work near your company too.

Sometimes, Kazutora would even send you a coffee during your break time. You appreciate it a lot.

Today, you woke up with a notification from Kazutora. It says that he wants to hang out with you tomorrow if it's okay.

You checked your schedule and you're pretty much free tomorrow. All you have to do now is to tell Sei about your plans with your Kazutora.

You called Sei as usual to see how he was doing and told him about the plan, he seems to be happy that you're spending time with a friend.

"I see... that guy seems great! I'm glad you're enjoying with your friends there, Y/n. Anyways, I'll call you back later. I have to go to work. Love you." And he ended the call.

You decided to ask Kazutora about your plans for tomorrow like where you guys are going to go and what time and stuff like that.

He texted you and said that you two should meet up at Starbucks in the mall at 10:30 am. You agreed with it and you couldn't help but be excited!

You were walking around your front yard, watering your plants. "I wonder when was the last time I hanged out with a friend... hm, it must've been with Emma when we were still high school students haha, I really miss her... I hope she's doing okay in heaven."

You felt a bit sad remembering your high school best friend, Emma, who had passed away due to a hit and run incident.
