04: Blossomed Feelings

— [ Kazutora's POV 🐯 ]

I remember the first time I met Y/n. It was a stormy day and she came running into the shop, muddying the floor I had just mopped a few minutes ago.

For me, that was the best thing that has ever happened in my life. We became good friends. It's almost a year since I've met her.

Actually, at first, I was just intrigued by her. She seemed sweet and kind, always prim and proper. I rarely had any friends. It was already hard for me to trust others but for some reason, I opened up immediately to her.

I guess this must be fate, right?

I watched her play with the pets, she did a great job looking after the pets while I ran an errand with Chifuyu earlier.

Chifuyu seemed to notice me staring at her, "What are you smiling for, Kazutora?"

"H-huh?" I looked away to hide the subtle blush on my face. Chifuyu giggled, "Hey be quiet! If you're noisy she'd notice me."

"Kazutora, don't tell me you like Y/n? You know she has a boyfriend right?" I frowned upon hearing that question.

I explained my side to Chifuyu, "I don't! What makes you think I'd like her? I mean, not that I hate her or anything"

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say tiger..." He sarcastically said, patting my shoulder before returning to do his work.

Chifuyu always nagging and teasing me, what is he, my mom?

I pretended to look for something while I slowly went towards Y/n's way. She finally noticed me and I smiled sheepishly, she looked very cute while playing with the pets.

I love the cute and friendly vibes she gives off, no wonder the animals like her... even me.

"I guess I'll get going now. Bye, guys!" She left the shop and I was finally able to relax.

"I thought she'd never leave..." I sighed, chuckling while looking out the window.

*BONK!*

"Ow! What was that for?" I annoyingly whined after Chifuyu had hit me with a bottle on my head.

"Get back to work!" He grumpily said, I sighed in defeat and had no choice but to do what he had said.

Soon, time passed and it was finally time for us to close the shop. "Chifuyu always making me do work... what's there to work about when we rarely get customers anyways?!"

"Hey I can hear you, idiot."

I finished mopping the floor. I prepared to close the shop.

I was about to leave the shop to Chifuyu, but of course I'm going to tell him like the good friend I am, "Hey Chifuyu I'm gonna go home now!"

"Alright. Drive safely."

I drove home. As soon as I got home to my small apartment, I washed my hands and face.

I put on some comfortable clothes and tiredly walked to my room, quickly flopping down to my bed.

I wanted to sleep but I guess I was a bit bored. I got my phone and opened my messages, as usual, no text messages from Y/n.

"Hm... we barely have any pictures together" I frowned as I came to a realization.

I decided to look her social media account up, searching through different accounts just to find the one that belonged to her.

It's been 5 minutes and I still haven't found it. I was kind of starting to get pissed, surely she'd use apps for socializing right?!

I continued to search and search until I was finally able to figure out her username and looked her up.
