Date?

After magcon was over we were all tired. As we were all walking back to the hotel Shawn trudged behind and then he pulled me into this alley. "Jaime. will you go on a date with me tonight?" My smile was gigantic. I playfully hit him on the arm.
"Shawn! I thought you were gunna kidnap me!" we were both laughing but I was just trying to string him on and he caught on fast.
"soo?"
"soo what?"
"jaime." he chuckled lightly
"Shawn."
"okay." he said and looked down at his feet. he started to walk away but I grabbed his wrist.
"yes Shawn. I would love to." Even in the dark alley I could see his white smile and it was even brighter than before. He slowly grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. We walked back talking about random things. no one was around since they all got back and we walked into the hotel still holding hands and smiling to each other.
"whoooaaaaa did I miss something?" I jumped a bit at the sudden loud voice that now filled my ears. I looked over to see Nash. Of course. He pointed to my hands and i looked down at my feet.
   Shawn squeezed my hand and looked up at Nash. "Jaime is going on a date with me tonight." I blushed and continued to hide my face.
"ohhhh well you two love birds have fun." he smirked and walked away.
"princess, stop hiding your face." he put one finger under my chin and pulled me head to face him. I gave him a small smile and he returned. "that's better" I embraced him in a long hug which made his scent shoot up my nose

*time for date*

I'm currently in my room wondering what the appropriate attire for tonight's occasion would be. Ending up asking Shawn casual or dressy. I sighed sitting on my bed realizing I procrastinated too long, there's no way I'm going to be ready in time. Especially if Shawn doesn't text me back soon. I ended up deciding on a black skater skirt and a flower-print crop top. I threw my hair into a messy fishtail braid and slipped on my black Vans. I walked out into the hallway smile growing as I see the boys stopping to look at me. If Nash (brother material) stops and looks at me like that then hopefully Shawn will think I look good enough. As I'm walking to Shawn's room I get wolf whistles from two random boys walking down the hallway. I give them an uncomfortable smile and start walking a tad faster. I looked to the opposite side of me to reveal an angry Hayes. Oh wow. His bed head and his eyes seemed puffy. I can't tell if it is form just waking up or crying. Hopefully the first one. Even though, even after all the times he has hurt me, I still care about him. Wow that's bad isn't it? It depresses me how much of an effect he has put on me. I look away cringing at the thought of falling back into his trap.
  I started speed walking to Shawn's room. I knocked on the door and was greeted by a smiley Shawn. He is wearing his signature jeans and hoodie. No matter what he is in he always manages to make it look good. Well I mean honestly all of the boys do. Then something hits me. How could I be doing this? Shawn lives in Canada. I live in North Carolina. This can't possibly work, can it? I can't lead him on. "Shawn?" he looks at me suddenly very concerned. I wince at the look he gave me.
"yeah?"
"this can't work can it?" The look of absolute shock and hurt on his face is enough to make anyone fall weak.
"W-What do you mean?"
"You live in Canada. I live in North Carolina. I-I just. Don't know." Sighing, he looks at me knowingly. "Shawn. Trust me, I want us to be a thing very badly. I mean you make me feel safe and you understand and you just continue to surprise me and I love that about you." I could not bring myself to meet his eyes knowing if I did I would break down. "The truth is, I think I am way in over my head. Can we please be friends? I cannot lose someone who makes me feel so safe and content. I need someone to help me when stupid boys ruin it." This causes us both to chuckle and I give him a wink. He nods and I turn to walk back to my room. As I walk to my room i notice something outside of my room. A package? On the top is says "from Hayes". Oh my god..

A/N GUYS OMG i swear i am the WORST at updating. I love you all and thanks to the people who commented to update you honestly encouraged me to continue this story and attempt to bring back Jayes ;). I love you guys sooo much and please continue commenting it means a lot <3 I am also happy to announce i am in fact working on a new story!!! it will not be a fan fiction sorry to disappoint :( but i think i am going to like it so please check that out when it comes out. I will keep you posted and attempt to update more.
