Chapter 40/ Later Hawaii

Jaime POV

I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv and opened the curtains that hid the beautiful scenery that was showing from the balcony. Light drained into the room then Hayes came out and I immediately got uneasy. I looked toward the kitchen to see if Nina was there but no such luck. I stood up to leave but he stopped me "No Jaime please wait." I turned around and I looked at him so disappointed.

"Why should I?" I asked with an even more disappointed look.

"B-because I want to explain."

"Hayes it was weeks ago I don't need an explantation to why you hurt me so you can just go hurt me again!" I said throwing my hands in the air.

"But I wouldn't do that again." He said with his voice shaking.

"What would make me ever believe that." I said getting really annoyed. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me outside of the room. But left the door propped open. He brought me down the hall way and I was trying to squirm out of his grasp but no such luck.

"Look into my eyes." He told me, and I did as I was told. "Jaime winters I love you. I will never give up on how much I love you. I have made mistakes, but you have opened my eyes to how much I physically hurt girls' feelings and how I do the same thing over and over. Jaime Winters I will never get over you with your perfect blue eyes that sparkle in moonlight or in sunlight.

Jaime winters I love you. I have never told anyone that I love them before and this time I have never been so sure that I am being serious. I won't give up on you Jaime just don't let me brake. That's it. Just don't forget that I won't stop loving you. You have showed me what true love feels like. This love will never fade. I will never not love you. I'll wait for as long as I am alive. Jaime Winters whatever you do to me I can't get you out of my head."

I just stood there completely speechless. I was searching his face for some sign that he was kidding. Nothing. I opened my mouth the talk but no sound came out. "Jaime? Are you o-okay?" It took me a second but I nodded slowly. "I know you like me back."

"I do not." I said but I hope he can't see through my lies. I would never date him. I would live in fear of getting my heart broken.

"Yes you do. And I can prove it."

"How?"

"Let me kiss you." He waited for my response. But I didn't have one. I stood there like it was impossible for me to move. He leaned in and kissed me. The weird part was I kissed back. When I realized what I was doing I pushed him away. I looked away with my head down in a different direction. I started running back to our condo leaving him there. Did I feel bad? Yes. Did I want to go back and hug him until he was suffocated? Yes. Did I like him? Yes. Did I hate him? Yes. I am so confused.

My life is so complicated right now. I don't know what to do. I was supposed to be having fun. I was supposed to be going on a date with Dylan. This was supposed to be a trip to get away from Hayes. I can't handle this. I went into my room and took my MacBook and went into the bathroom and locked myself in there. I bought a plane ticket for in two hours.

It was the soonest plane ticket I have ever bought in my life. I need to go back home. I started to pack my stuff and the gang was still sleeping. I packed everything and brought my stuff to the lobby.

There was a nice lady working the desk and I asked her to leave my stuff down there and she understood that something was wrong. She gladly accepted. I went back upstairs and wrote a note for almost everyone individually.

I am going back home. I can tell you guys everything when Yall get back home. I realize I only stayed for 2 days and I am really sorry. I already bought the plane ticket and I'm on my way to the airport now. There was some stuff before yall woke up and I'm sorry I didn't tell yall but it's okay I'll explain later. Sammy. Thank you so much for the trip I'm sorry I left so soon but it means a lot that you invited me.
