Chpt. 38/ New Couple?

Jaime POV

I think I am honestly starting to like Dylan. We have been hanging out a lot with other people of course. We are like brother and sister but we act like a couple. We hug a lot and the other day when we were watching a horror movie I say next to him and would jump and hide behind him a lot. He would just laugh at me and put his arm around me. I get soooo scared of movies like that. Tonight we are going swimming with everyone and I'm really excited. I think it's gunna be fun. I catch Hayes staring at me every once in a while, it's quite creepy actually but I'll get over it. I think I am really falling for Dylan though.

We are all ready to go down to the pool and it was about 7:30 we swam for about an hour then everyone was pretty tired but I decided to stay for alittle longer. I thought everyone left so I got out after floating a bit and just relaxing. I grabbed onto the ladder railing that was in the pool. I pulled myself up and put my foot on the edge. I walked over to my beach chair and closed my eyes just listening to the water moving. I was the only one out here and since the beach was so close I could hear the waves crashing on the shore. It was so relaxing. I closed my eyes and wiped off my face. I was staring at the pool that was now light up with underwater lights deep in thought. Suddenly I was picked up and I started screaming but my mouth was covered with a big hand. I looked up to see Dylan. I smacked his face and he put me down literally right next to the edge of the pool. He looks at me in the eyes deeply. And he leans in and then does something i wasn't exactly expecting.

Dylan POV

I come back out to check on Jaime but I see only me and Jaim are out here. I'm gunna scare her😈. I walked up behind her really quietly and she didn't notice me. I picked her up and put my hand over her mouth when she opened it to scream. I let her kick and punch but she missed me all the times she did that. She looked up at me and kind of looked mad but happy at the same time. I guess she's happy that I wasn't a serial killer. She smacked me but it didn't hurt because she is so tiny. I set her down right next to the pool. I look deeply into her eyes and cup my hand on her face we both lean and when we were inches apart I smiled and stop leaning. I took my finger and pushed her into the pool. She came up coughing and I offered my hand expecting to be pulled in because jaim is so predictable. She didn't pull my in but when I pulled her up and pulled her around she pushed me in. Then I got out and grabbed her and wrapped my arms around her then jumped into the pool bringing her with me. We were both laughing and then our laughing slowly disappeared and we stared into each other's eyes yet again. Then we actually kissed. It was passionate and it lasted about a minute and a half. It was amazing. I need her to be mine.

Jaime POV

Me and Dylan actually kissed this time. I want to date him so bad now. I don't know if us playing in the pool or the kiss put me over the top to actually figuring out that I do like him. A lot. We got out of the pool again and it took everything in me not to push him in again but I was too tired to push him in. We dried off and headed upstairs. When we got in front of our condo I struggled to find my key in my jumbled up bag. I finally found them and as I was attempting to put them in te lock Dylan's strong hand stopped me. I looked at him and he opened his arms in a welcoming motion. He was offering a hug and I gladly accepted. Then I turned back to the door and opened it. We walked out different ways quietly since everyone else had been sleeping or so we thought. When we got to the main room everyone was sitting in a circle playing truth or dare.

"Hey guys! Come play with us!" Sammy said kind of demanding kind of questioning. I shrugged last time I played truth or dare with these guys I had to apologize to hayes. "I don't know I mean last time it didn't exactly..." And I stopped myself. Lakean and Sammy nodded in understanding while everyone else looked confused. My eyes wandered to Hayes who was staring at me. Creepy. But he looked away as soon as I caught him. I started walking to my room when I got pulled back "please?" Dylan asked me. I sighed and nodded

"Ok but I'm only going to play until I fall asleep im so tired." I sat next to Dylan who sat next to Hayes so I sat next to Dylan and Hayes and it was so awkward. I don't think Dylan knew about me and Hayes. "Dylan I dare you to do the salt and ice challeng" Sammy said and everyone groaned. We knew that he would scream in pain and wake up their parents but it would be funny to watch him scream. He got up and did the challenge and it was really funny. I started to get sleepy and my eyes drifted untill I fell asleep.

I woke up I guess about twenty minutes later because they were still playing truth or dare. My head was rested on something. I looked over and saw my head was on HAYES'S SHOULDER!!! WHY DIDNT ANYONE WAKE ME UP!!! Ugh! They all stop playing and went to sleep. Even though I was exhausted but I couldn't fall asleep. I got up and walked towards the balcony looking down at my feet. I opened the door and saw someone standing on the balcony. "Charles?" I asked but he turned around and it was Dylan. His green eyes were like glow in the dark bouncy balls. They were so shiny and I just walked to the railing and leaned a bit on it. I watched the waves crash since the beach was dead ahead of us. And Dylan let out a puff of air and stared at me. "What?" I asked

"Nothing." He said and let out another puff of air.

"No seriously what?" I asked again.

"Jaime." He says and pauses turning towards me. "Would you go on a date with me? I know we haven't know each other long but Ireallylikeyouandihopeyoulikemetoo." He said the last part really fast and I just laughed at him. The fact that u understood it made me laugh even harder. "Of course Dylan." I said between laughs "I like you too." This time his face REALLY light up. It was so cute. He put his arm around me and we watched the waves together. Eventually we both finally felt like we could fall asleep so we went our separate ways and I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
