Chapter 14

Carter POV

I just laughed at my day dream of her and Jaime dying. I would never actually want that happen. "Um hi is Jaime here?"

"Y-yea." She stutters and I just smile to make her more comfortable. She walks upstairs and I hear yelling I just snicker because it's obviously about me.

Shelby POV

OMG CARTER REYNOLDS IS LOOKING AT ME I AM LITERALLY TWO FEET AWAY FROM HIM!!!! I AM SO GOING TO KILL JAIME!!!!!

He asked me if jaim was here. And I said yea and I stuttered I felt like getting a rock and hitting myself in the head. UGH IM SO STUPID!!! I walk upstairs and hear running. Obviously Jaime was spying on me. I go to her room and jump on her. "JAIME WHAT THE HECK! I can't BELIVE you made me talk to Carter. I STUTTERED THAT WAS SO Embarrassing."

She just stared at me then looked at Mahogany and they both started laughing. Whenever Jaime laughs it just causes me to laugh. It's like a best friend thing. I just started laughing and we all walked downstairs. Then Jaime went up to Carter.

"Hey Carter!" Jaime says and hugs him. Mahogany waves and hugs Carter too. I'm just standing behind them awkwardly. Carter looks at me and laughs. He holds his arms out and smiles. I just blush and go to hug him. Then Sammy walks down and ruins everything.

"HELLO PEOPLEEEE!!!" Sammy yells. I turn around and give him the 'I'm going to kill you' look and he runs. I run after him and then Jaime runs after so I don't kill Sammy. She grabs Sammy and pulls him upstairs and yells at me "DONT KILL MY BEST FRANDDD" and then she laughs just trying to make me mad. Then she comes back to see if I calmed down and I did. Then she brings Sammy down and then carter asks Jaime to talk she just nods becuase it sounds serious. She looks at us and we got the message. I pulled Sammy upstairs and then mahogany followed.

Jaime POV

Carter asked to talk to me and it sounded serious. I was kind of nervous. "Jaime can we talk about Hayes?" I shake my head and stand up. He grabs my hand and makes me sit back down. "Look hear me out please Hayes is really sorry. He was so embarrassed to talk to you he asked me. He feels really bad and thinks it's his fault that you got hit by the car." Carter tells me and I just sit there. I take it all in. I can't just forgive him like that.

"Carter you can tell him it isn't his fault that I got hit by the car. That was completely my decision. Also I can't just forgive him. He knows Amanda was the one mason cheated on me with and I just couldn't handle it ok? I'm sorry but no." Carter just sighs and asks what any boy would ask.

"Jaim you where's your foooood?" I just laugh and show him the cabinet of food and he says thanks.

"Carter you can come up to my room and hang out with us. Including Shelby." I says and wink. He just rolls his eyes and he nods. I walk upstairs and talk to everyone and tell then what carter wanted. Then after about 5 mins carter comes up and was totally checking lakean out. "OH MY GOD CARTER STOP CHECKING HER OUT!" He started to blush and so did Shelby. He sat down and I suggested truth or dare. And everyone agreed.

A/N HEY guys I'm close to 100 reads and I know that isn't a lot but I expected like 10 reads when I get 100 I'll make he chapter like really long. So I couldn't end the book like I ended last chapter but yea. Hope you like my book 💕
