Chapter 11

Hayes POV

It was getting late but I didn't care I wasn't leaving this room untill she woke up. A nurse came in and said that only one person could stay. "I'll stay" Jess offered

"NO I need to stay with her. This was all my fault. Even though she hates my guts she still tried to save me. She would take a bullet for anyone even if they were a serial killer. I need to stay with her. Please." I pleaded I was so sad I stopped crying but after I said that I needed to stay even more and I was about to cry again.

"Ok bud but please take care of my baby sister. I trust you. And I'm sure she doesn't HATE you. We'll what did you do?"

"Did she tell you about mason and Amanda?"

"Yea of course."

"We'll I kind of kissed Amanda when we were supposed to be going on a date tonight."

"DUDE DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SHE HATES HER!???!?!?!??? EVEN BEFORE THE MASON INCIDENT."

"I'm s-sorry."

"No I'm sorry I yelled. Did lakean or Sammy ever tell you about jaim's past?"

"No why?"

"We'll Amanda bullied Jaime and it was really really bad. She was a wreck she would come home and cry for hours. She didn't think she was pretty enough or some other nonsense she let Amanda get to her so much that she bombed her cheer tryout. She made it but on the JV team." (If u don't know what JV is it's a team that everyone who try's out has to make junior varsity (JV) or varsity.) I had absolutely no words. I felt so bad. Amanda seemed so nice. I didn't know it was the same girl with mason. I just got caught up in the moment and I feel aweful now. What have I done? I put Jaime in a coma. "Ok I can tell this love fest isn't going anywhere any time soon and we are all upset hayes but me and Jess have to leave." Nash told me

"Ok that's fine."

Nash and Jess left and I was there and I looked back at Jaime. I just started crying my eyes out again. "J-Jaime I know you can't hear me but I'm so sorry. I didn't know about Amanda and mason. She seemed so nice and I'm so sorry. I can 100% understand if you still hate me when you wake up. I would hate me too. But since you can't hear me I have nothing to loose. Jaime when I first met you I knew I was going to call for you. And look where I am. I did fall for you. Hard and fast."

"H-hayes?" I swear I heard Jaime say. I looked up and her eyes fluttered open. "D-did you hear what I said?"

"No I'm sorry I didn't."

"It's ok it wasn't meant for you to hear it." She studied my face and I think she realized what happened and she looked away. She was still mad...GREAT!

Jaime POV

I can't believe Jess and Nash left me here with Hayes. I'm so mad at him and I don't want him to be here. "J-Jaime?"

"What do you want Hayes."

"W-why did you save me?"

" because even the little time you have known me I know you know I can't just watch someone get hurt."

"Oh ok. So you still hate me?"

"Hayes I can't just forget what happened."

"I know Jaime but I'm so sorry."

"I'm sorry Hayes I just can't."

He opened his mouth to say something but a doctor walked in.

"Sooo miss winters woke up! How do you feel?"

"We'll my side hurts."

"We can get medicine for that." He grabbed some pills and gave them to me. Then he gave me a water bottle. I took the pills and drank my water. "You are a very lucky young lady. Your ribs were only bruised. So you can go home tomorrow after we give u a check up."

"Ok thanks doctor."

"No problem."

The doctor walked out and Hayes came back by me and pulled a chair beside my bed and sat. He just say there and starred at me. It was actually kind of creepy. "Hayes what are you doing?"

"Can't i look at you?"

"N-no. Why would you want to?"

"I like to look at beautiful things." He said and smirked.

"Hayes can I tell you something?"

" 'course."

" I honestly was scared to even agree to go on one date with you. I thought you were different. You are a jock and I should have known that you were a player."

"I-i am different."

"No hayes you aren't."

"Look Jaime I really really like you and I'm sorry I won't give up. I should be in that hospital bed not you. I will never ever forgive myself for what happened to you. So you can say u don't like me but you can't change my feelings for you. I might be a player I might date different people every week. I know this because I do that when I'm hurt. But what I also know I will never stop liking you and I will NEVER give up."

And with that he closed his eyes and within seconds I heard soft snores. I have no words maybe he is right?

No I can't fall for him he even said it he is a player

Ugh! Life is so complicated!!
