"Aria. I still don't want you hanging around Billie unsupervised. I trust you and love you with my whole heart but I will not let you get hurt." Mrs. Cauldwell said while walking out of the house.
Aria just quietly agreed and went back to her room, hoping she'd get the study but Billie had FaceTimed her.

Hey. You didn't tell me you were awake.

I know I'm sorry. I just got my phone back.
I'm attempting to write the manuscript and my mom just left.

Okay... that's okay. Are you hungry? Should I come over and cook or order food?

I'm not hungry but I'd love your presence.
I've been stuck in my room for the last 8 days.

I know Aria
I'm sorry, I'll make it all up to you I promise I will.

There's no need Bil. Just come over. She's gonna be gone for two days.

I'll be there in 15
Hang tight.

Aria closed her laptop and leaned back on her chair, thinking with her eyes glued to the ceiling.
She hadn't realized how fast the time went by while she was thinking. But Billie walked into her room with a big smile.
"Hey ma. I missed you." Billie smiled sweetly, but absolutely scaring the shit out of aria.
"Holy fuck. I didn't think you'd be here so soon." Aria stood up and squeezed Billie tightly, enjoying her warm embrace and her sweet smell.
"I missed you Bil." She said, her voice muffled in Billie's hoodie.
"I missed you more. Are you hungry or anything? Tired? You seem down." Billie kissed arias nose and held her face between her hands.
"No. I'm okay. Can we just read together? I need some peace and quiet away from this noisy world." Aria whispered while playing with the rings on Billie's fingers.
"Of course ma... Great Gatsby or Pride and Prejudice?"
Aria took a quiet second to think and she smiled deviously, knowing her and Billie had read the same story many, many times.
"The Great Gatsby please. There's something so comforting about that book and how it's set in the 1920's. It's just revolutionary." Aria climbed onto her soft pink sheets and waited for Billie to join.
Once they got comfortable Aria turned her led lights to purple and snuggled closer to Billie's chest.
"You know... I'm going to resign teaching now so you and I can pursue our dreams and future together. And I'm buying that building on main street and turning it into a cafe and library." Billie said before she began reading.
"That sounds lovely Billie. But don't give up your dreams for love. In the end, you need to be happy too." Aria ran her fingers through Billie's hands
