Aria picked up her phone and dialed Billie's number.
Tonight wasn't a normal night.
Aria had witnessed the most traumatic moment of her life, finding out her father had been having an affair with a coworker of his.
She listened to the ringing of the phone, praying Billie picked up.
This was something she couldn't talk to her friends about. Sure they were like sisters to her, but they would ask questions and talk about it behind her back.

" Aria? What's going on? It's 2am. "

"Is it a bad time? Did I wake you? I'm sorry, I can call back tomorrow."

" no no, talk to me. Are you crying?"

"A little. Is there any way you could come get me? I'll walk around the corner."

"I'll be there in a few. Hang tight okay?"

Aria hung up the phone and tossed clothes into her bag, knowing she wouldn't be coming home for a few days.
She needed time to herself after all of this happened, though she'd hate to leave her little brother home with his heartbroken mother, she had to do what's best for herself right now.
"Hey bud. There's dinner in the microwave. You can sleep in my room tonight, I'm going to my friends house. I love you." Aria gently kissed her younger brothers head and walked out of his room, closing the door behind her.
Aria pushed past her arguing parents and ran out the door, stepping out into the cold rain.
She tightened her grip on the bag and ran down the street, hitting a sharp left and seeing Billie's car there.
Billie jumped out to attend to the crying girl, she wrapped her arms around her tightly and ran her thumb down her back.
"Do you want to talk about it? Get in the car before you get sick."
Aria didn't respond. Her big brown eyes focused on Billie's blue ones, tears still pouring down her face.
Billie opened the door for the smaller girl to get into, which she did very slowly.
"It's going to be alright. Talk to me whenever you're ready." Billie said just as she turned the heat on, noticing the brown eyed girl was shivering.
They headed to Billie's apartment which wasn't very far from Arias house.
"I'll meet you up there go get dried off, feel free to shower." Billie said, letting the girl out close to the door.
Billie watched her walk inside before she went to park the car.
She waited a few moments before getting out and walking up to her apartment.
She sat on the couch alone, letting Aria have some time to herself to cry and get her feelings out, but to Billie's surprise when she came out of the bathroom she was no longer crying. She just had a certain look on her face, like she needed a big hug.
And Billie did so. She embraced the young girl tightly and led her to the couch.
"My dad. He got a coworker pregnant. And him and my mom are getting a divorce." Aria sniffled, wiping her eyes on the sleeves on her hoodie and leaves into Billie's touch again.
"Oh Aria... I'm so. I'm so sorry."
The brunette only shrugged.
She tried to seem tough, but Billie saw it in her eyes that she wanted to cry until she couldn't anymore. She looked so lost and broken.
Billie wrapped her arms around the girl once more, this time guiding her onto her lap.
"It's okay.. you can cry. I'm here."
