"Hey I brought you some water and a snack." Aria quietly said while walking into Billie's office.
"Thank you, love. Stay. Keep me company baby." Billie pulled the girl onto her lap and hugged her tightly.
Aria took a deep breath and looked up into Billie's eyes.
"Bil?" She mumbled.
"Hm? Yes love?" Billie hummed while typing on her laptop.
"Are you happy? You know... here? In this house?"
Billie took a moment to think and rubbed the girls head with a smile.
"Of course I'm happy here Aria. Why wouldn't I be? I have the most amazing house and the most beautiful, kind hearted girl. What more could I ask for?" Billie put on a great smile, tugging from ear to ear.
"I don't know. I just thought I should ask. I'm happy here too. I was scared my mom wasn't going to let us be happy together." Aria rested her head on Billie's chest and inhaled her scent.
"I'm glad she's letting us be happy now. She was just scared for you. I understand why." Billie takes her fingers through arias hair and wraps her arms around her.
"I don't mean to keep you from working. I know writing is very important to you right now."
Billie let out an airy chuckle and kissed the girls cheek.
"You aren't keeping me from writing my love. I think I'm ready for bed, maybe we can... read." Billie looked at Aria with a soft smile.
Of course Aria wanted to read.
It's her favorite memorable moments with Billie.
"Yeah let's read. I'll go make the bed. You choose the book." Aria jumped up and ran to the bedroom to make the bed.
It really wasn't necessary to make the bed, she just found that it's easier to get comfortable when everything is laid out perfectly.
Finally Billie walked into the room and turned off the main light, leaving the bedside lamp on so she could read.
Billie laid against the headboard which allowed Aria to lay on top of Billie's legs and rest her head on her stomach.
"Comfy?" Billie asked while opening the book.
"Mhmm." Aria quietly hummed.
Billie began quietly reading and before you know it Aria was peacefully asleep. Her soft snores and her quiet, timed breathing always hit Billie in the heart.
She would've never thought that Aria would be her girlfriend, better yet the woman she was planning on marrying.
In the early morning Aria woke up but Billie was no longer holding her. She turned over on to her side and Billie wasn't there.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes, letting out a sleepy yawn before getting up.
"Billie?" Aria sleepily called out while knocking on the office door.
Billie opened up with the phone to her ear and a finger over her mouth.
Aria gave a small nod and just walked up to Billie, hugging her tightly while she spoke professionally on the phone.
It was a long and tiring conversation between Billie and her parents.
But aria never let go of Billie.
"Yes mom. She's right here, would you like to say hi?" Billie cleared her throat and Aria looked up with wide eyes.
"Hi Mrs. O'Connell."
"Hello darling. How's your morning going?" The woman asked through the phone.
"It's going great! How's yours?" Aria tried her best to sound older and more respectful but she was so anxious about speaking to Billie's mom for the first time.
"Like hell... Billie's father is the most precious yet most stubborn person in the world."
A few hours later after breakfast Aria was lying on the couch while Billie worked.
This was an everyday thing.
Movie time for Aria, work for Billie.
But today Billie finished her work early and decided to take Aria out for dinner.
"And my parents will be there, you could meet them finally." Billie said with a wide smile.
Arias heart dropped and so did her smile.
"What's wrong baby? Is that not okay with you?" Billie asked while placing her hand on the girls back.
"No it's okay. I'm just scared they'll think I'm a little too young for you."
Billie chuckled a bit and kissed the girls lips.
"They'll think you're absolutely perfect aria."
