Chapter 17

Taking a deep breath Jungkook started "It was almost six years ago when me and my hyung Junghyun were leading a happy life with Mom and dad. Everything was going well. Hyung was going to take over the position of CEO in our company. We're all happy especially me until she arrived. She came like a strom in our lives. Her arrival ruined our happy lives." Jungkook fisted his free hand in anger.

"Who was she?" Taehyung asked gently rubbing his thumb on the back of Jungkook's hand which he was holding. Jungkook tighten his hold on Tae's hand and continued. "Her name was Hana."

"She was Dad's business partner's daughter. One month before hyung would take over the company, Dad introduced her to us. That time Dad fixed hyungs marriage with Hana. Hyung had a crush on her so he gladly accepted it. That was the day everything started going downhill. At first Hana was very gentle and caring with us. She used to show that she loved hyung a lot. But as time passed by she started showing her true colors. She gradually started avoiding hyung which made hyung depressed a little. Hyung tried to talk to her about her weird behavior many times but she never give a damn about it "  saying Jungkook paused a little.

Taehyung could see the rage in his eyes. After a while Jungkook spoke further "I never liked her in the first place. Seeing her this behavior I started having a doubt on her. So I kept a tap on her movements. That's when I found out that she was cheating on my hyung. She used to have one night stand with multiple man and also had a boyfriend and was pregnant with his child. I tried to make  Mom Dad see her true colors but they didn't believed me"

Jungkook's eyes brimmed with tears. "They said I was lying since I didn't had any proof and they wouldn't break the marriage since it was very important for their company"

Taehyung frowned thinking how could a parent not believe in their own child. " Since they didn't believed me I thought to let hyung know about it. But hyung wasn't in Korea. He had to go to US for a business meeting. So I thought it would be better if talked to him after he returns. But it was already too late" Jungkook's tears kept falling making Taehyung's heart wrench.

"It was a day  three months after hyungs takeover as CEO. He was going to surprise Hana by proposing her for the marriage so he went to her house directly from the airport. But didn't expect the sight that welcomed him. Since he knew the password of her apartment he directly went inside but he heard moans and groans coming from the bedroom. With hesitated steps he opened the door of bedroom and saw that his fiance was having sex with someone else "

Tae was stunned hearing all this. He had a bad feeling of what was coming next but kept quiet letting Jungkook finish.

"Hyung was too shocked seeing this. Hana and the guy was also shocked looking at hyung. Hana hadn't expected that hyung would come. They hurriedly wore their clothes and Hana started to explain hyung that it was all a mistake. Hearing this the guy who was her boyfriend got mad and blurted out all the truth. Hyung was devastated. He was enraged so he slapped Hana. One thing led to the other and they had a big fight among themselves. On other side I was trying to reach hyung because I wanted to told hyung about Hana. I was continuesly calling him but he wasn't picking up "

Jungkook's lips quivered and his voice broke as he told further " I tracked hyungs location and got there as soon as possible but I was late" Jungkook started breathing heavily

" There I saw my hyung lying in the pool of his own blood and Hana had a broken vase in her hand. I ran towards him and took him in my embrace. I tried to wake him up but he was not even breathing. Hana kept yelling that it was a mistake that she didn't intend to it. I took hyung to hospital but at was all in vain. Hyung was gone due to the deep injury and too much blood lose. I lost my hyung "

Jungkook again broke and taehyung immediately hugged him with his owns eyes filled with tears.

After sometime Jungkook composed himself as he narrated further "I was going to file a murder case against Hana but before that Hana filed a murder case of my hyung against me".

Hearing this Tae's eyes went wide "What" he whispered. Jungkook nodded his head and said " To save herself and her boyfriend she made me the accuse. With the help of his father she made false evidence against me as his father had strong connections. I tried to defend myself very hard but nobody believed me even my own parents" Jungkook eyes became dark at that.

"My own parents thought that I killed my brother and refused to help me. Using this opportunity Hana proved that I was mentally unstable and killed by brother in a sudden rage"

Tae was stunned hearing all this. He was unable to believe all this. "I was sent to mental asylum " Jungkook said with a shaky breath. "I was punished for something that was never my fault. I was tortured while nobody even cared to inquire about me"

"So how did you get out of there?" Taehyung asked. He was still holding Jungkook by his shoulder.

"When Namjoon hyung, Yoongi hyung and Hobi hyung got to know about all this they inquired in this matter. I told them the whole incident and they assured me that they would prove me innocent and get me out of here. And they did. They collected all the real  evidence against Hana and her lover. They proved that I was innocent , that I was perfectly stable and I was released after 6 months of torture "

Jungkook looked at Tae after finishing. Tae was looking at those red puffy eyes with so much affection for the elder and anger about what he has to go through "What happened with Hana?" Tae asked in a mere whisper.

"She was sentenced life imprisonment" Jungkook replied staring directly at Tae's soul. "And your parents "

"When the got to know about all this, they apologized to me but I was too hurt to forgive them. Hence I distanced myself from them" Jungkook replied sighing while Tae hummed.

"You know you're very strong to go through all this" Tae said with a soft smile making Jungkook chuckle.

"Thank a lot for listening to me " Jungkook said after sometime wiping his face. He was genuinely thankful to Tae for this. Sharing his pain with Tae Jungkook felt fresh as if some heavy burden was lifted up from his chest.

"It's my pleasure professor" Tae said retracting his hand. Jungkook wanted to whine at the lost of Tae's warm hands. "We should head back. It's late and I'm sure you must be hungry since we are sitting here for a very long time." Tae said getting up.

Jungkook also got up and replied "Yeah you're right. Again thanks. Let me drop you to your house". Tae smiled saying "It's alright my house is not far from here.  I can go on my own" and started going towards the exit.

Jungkook was looking at Tae's back with a racing heart and his heart skipped a beat when Tae looked back at him and waved. He waved back with a soft smile and left from there.
