The Roots of Love

Chapter 24

The following two days they enjoyed the camp and played small games. It was the fourth day night of their camping when they all sat beside the campfire

"Guys it's boring sitting like this" Jin said being bored. "Let's play truth and dare then " Jimin suggested all of them cheered at that except Jungkook.  "You guys play I'm not interested" Jungkook said boringly.

"Yahh Kook come on bro play a little it will be fun and also it's been so long since we have played any types of games" Hobi whined to Jungkook making Ami snicker "Look at you whining like a kid" Hobi gave Ami a wtf look making others laugh. After some more persuading Jungkook also agreed to play the game.

So Tae  got a bottle and spin in after keeping it in the middle. The bottle stopped at Namjoon. Tae smiled wickedly at that and seeing that smile Namjoon knew something was going on in his little brother's mind. "Truth or Dare hyung " Tae asked "Truth" Namjoon chosed thinking that if he chose dare than his brother might make him do something weird.

"What's the most embarrassing thing that has happened with you" Tae asked making Namjoon chuckle nervously. Others looked at Namjoon curiously

"Once I was attending a board meeting when suddenly I had a sneeze and my pants torned with a loud sound in the middle of the meeting filled with people" Tae and Jimin laughed loudly hearing this.

Others tried to stifle their laugh but soon they all burst out making Namjoon groaned in embarrassment. "Okay okay now spin the bottle" Jin said recovering from his laughter.

Namjoon spin the bottle and this time it landed on Hobi this time "Truth or Dare" Namjoon asked to which Hobi chose dare "Call the first person in your contact list and sing happy birthday song to them" Hobi widened his eyes hearing that others were amused at the dare.

"Come on hyung do it" Tae and Jimin said together. Hobi sighed before calling the first person on his contact list and singing birthday song. Hobi then spined the bottle and this time it landed on Jin "Truth or Dare" Hobi asked from which Jin chose truth.

"Tell us about your first crush" Jin smiled hearing this question while Namjoon looked at him with eagerness. Jimin, Tae and Ami smiled softly already knowing the answer "Namjoon he is my first crush, first love and first boyfriend" Jin said blushing Namjoon smiled widely hearing this.

Like this the game continued with silly dares and embarrassing truths. At one point the bottle landed on Jungkook's direction now everyone is looking at him like a hawk.

"I chose truth" Jimin smirked as a mischievous idea came in his mind. "Do you love someone professor" Jimin asked before anyone else could say anything. Taehyung stared at Jungkook waiting for his answer.

Jungkook looked at their direction to see all of them were staring at him. His eyes got locked with Tae and he replied "Yes I have someone whom I love a lot" staring directly at Tae's soul.

Tae smile disappeared from his face and for a moment became numb hearing his answer. Others already knew that Jungkook was talking about Tae but since Tae didn't knew he misunderstood that Jungkook loved someone else.

He looked down and bit on his lower lips blinking his eyes to control his emotions. Others noticed the dullness in Tae.

"Ummm I am tired I'm going back " Tae got up from his seat and walked his way back. "I will be right back" Jungkook said he also went behind Tae knowing that the younger must have mistaken him.

Tae was walking towards the forest instead of going back to his tent. His eyes were filled with tears and heart heavy with sadness. Because of his blurry vision he stumbled and was going to fall when someone caught him by his waist stabilizing him.

He looked up to see Jungkook's worried gaze. "Where are you in the forest at this time" Jungkook asked making him stand on his feet still holding him. "Why do you care?" Taehyung said in a small voice.

"What do you mean by that and why are you crying " Jungkook asked wiping the tears that left Tae's eyes. "I'm not crying. I just wanted to be alone for a while so I came here" replied taehyung removing Jungkook's hand from his waist.

Taehyung was again going to walk when Jungkook suddenly hold his hand yanking him and pinned him to the nearest tree. ",What's the matter with you why are you behaving like this" Jungkook asked sternly.

"Why should I tell you and why does it even matter to you?" Taehyung stubbornly replied "It matters to me because you are important to me" Jungkook said lifting his hand to caress Tae's cheeks.

"And why am I important to you" Taehyung irritatedly asked wriggling in his embrace. "Because I love you" Jungkook confessed in whisper Tae stilled in his actions and snapped his head to look at Jungkook he looked into his eyes to find any lie but his eyes screamed love.

"The person I love is you Tae. I love you not from today but from the time I have seen you but it took me a lot of time to realize that I have so deeper for you" Jungkook joined their foreheads together.

Meanwhile Tae was totally numb hearing his confession he was feeling overwhelmed knowing that the person whom he loves also loves him back.

Jungkook after not getting any response back away a little to see taehyung looking at him shocked. And his heartbeat rose in fear of rejection

Seeing Jungkook backing away Tae came back to his senses and immediately hugged him "I love you too" he whispered in Jungkook's ear Jungkook's eyes teared up at that.

He tightly hugged taehyung hiding his face in his crock of neck "I love you so much professor" Jungkook pulled back and cupped his face

"Will you be my boyfriend Tae will you be the person whom I will adore for the rest of my life" taehyung vigorously nodded his head "I will" he chocked out feeling ecstasic Jungkook smiled widely showing his bunny tooth

"You look a bunny professor " taehyung chuckled. "I'm your boyfriend now stop calling me professor call me hyung or whatever you want " Jungkook said huskily in his ears licking his earlobe tightening his hold on Tae's waist. Taehyung took a shaky breath because of electric feeling that ran through his body.

"Hyung" Tae called bitting his lips. Jungkook looked at Tae's lips and back at Tae's eyes again at his lips. Taehyung understood what he wanted. So he leaned forward making their lips brush together

"Can I?" Jungkook asked near his lips taehyung nodded and Jungkook without wasting anymore time joined their lips together kissing him softly. They both felt euphoric in that kiss.

A small whimper left from taehyung's lips when Jungkook sucked in his lower lips. They kept kissing each other with nothing but pure love. Getting out of breath they broke the kiss and joined their forehead looking in each other's eyes. They smiled to themselves knowing they belonged to each other now.
