The Roots of Love

Chapter 20

The day arrived when they were going to camping. It was a 5 days trip in Jeju and all of them were very much excited for it.

As of now they were standing in front of the uni waiting for the time to departure. "Hyung Noona how are you both doing" Jimin asked with a mischievous smile. Jin and Ami looked at him puzzled trying to understand his meaning while Tae clearly understood his soulmates plan.

"We are good" Jin said making Ami nod. "Oh really I thought you two would be on cloud nine by now" Tae spoke making them more confuse. "And why will be on cloud nine?" Ami raised an eyebrow in a questioning manner.

"As we are going on this trip with the professors in which your boyfriend's are also included we thought you guys would be happy and excited since you would get some special time for yourselves"  Tae spoke while Jimin giggled seeing Jin and Ami's blushing face.

"Yahh how can you say like this. We are going there for trip not to date" Ami tried to explain but who was she kidding. "Yeah yeah like we don't know about the little plan you guys have made with your partners " Jimin and Tae high fived.

Jin and Ami looked liked deer caught in headlights. They both had made secret plans to have a date with their lovers but didn't expect to be caught by these two brats.

"So what if we have a small date and if you are jealous go get yourselves a boyfriend" Jin and Ami shrugged causing Jimin and Tae to sulk. Seeing Tae and jimin's pouty face Jin and Ami chuckled at the adorable babies.

Tae was sulkily looking away but his eyes caught a scene not so pleasant to him. Because there was Jungkook talking to an female professor who clearly looked like would pounce on him at anytime. The way the female professor tried to get touchy with Jungkook made him angry and jealous. He was boring holes in that girls head.

Jimin saw the way Tae was glaring at them and smirked knowingly. "Tae what happened?" Jimin asked innocently to which Tae shook his head mumbling "Nothing " still glaring at them.

"Doesn't Professor Jeon and Professor Sana look good together " Jimin thought to confirm if what he is suspecting is correct or not and his suspicious was turned right when Tae glared at him with clenched jaw gritting his teeth

"Have you lost your eyesight Jimin from which angle do they look good together"

"From every angle look how compatible they look. Don't you think they would made a great couple?" Jimin was smiling mischievously when he saw fire of jealousy and anger in Tae's eyes. Now he was sure that Tae liked Jungkook.

"Tae do you perhaps like professor Jeon" Tae was taken aback by jimin's question. "The hell are you talking about why would I like him" Tae furrowed his eyebrows in irritation.

He was already quite angry and now this question made him more irritated. "The way you were looking at Professor Jeon and glaring at Professor Sana it looked like you didn't liked the closeness between them. And it means only one thing that you like him " Jimin grinned

While Taehyung got lost in his thoughts and again looked towards Jungkook and Sana. "Do I really like him" he thought to himself.

Jungkook was getting irritated by Sana's constant naggings.  He was trying to get away from her but she was clinging behind him making him frustrated. He was controlling himself hard not to lash out on her.

That's when he felt an gaze on him so he turned his head and saw Tae standing a far and glaring at him. He was confused as to why Tae was glaring at him.

"Professor Jeon are you listening to me" Sana tried to touch Jungkook but he caught her wrist and spoke in a dangerous low voice with a blank face "This is my last warning to you. Stay away from me if you don't want to live peacefully" and yanked her hand away. Sana got scared and ran away from there.

Jungkook sighed frustrately raking his fingers through his hairs and got on the bus. But what he didn't noticed was the teary eyes of a certain Bambi eyes.

Tae saw the incident between Jungkook and Sana but he couldn't hear anything since he was standing a little far away.

He saw Jungkook holding her hands and saying something so he turned on his back because of which he didn't saw Sana's scared expression and misunderstood the whole thing.

"Maybe he already likes her but if he liked her than why he behaved with me like that and why am I feeling hurt thinking about it. Did what Chim said was right do I really like him?" his eyes got teary thinking about this.

Jimin also saw all this and he also witnessed how Jungkook yanked her hand and how she ran away with a scared expression. And by seeing this he was sure Tae would misunderstood everything so he took a mental note to talk to his soulmate later.

"Jimin Tae let's go get on the bus " Jin held both their hands and hop on the bus.

Inside the bus, Tae's mood was gloomy. Jin and Ami tried to talk to him but he just answered absentmindedly. "He was fine this morning what happened to him?" Ami whispered to Jimin while Jin also nodded his head being worried for the younger one whom he loved as his own brother.

Jimin then narrated the whole story to them making them shocked. "So you mean to say that Tae likes professor Jeon" Ami asked Jimin nodded his head sighing. "And seeing professor Jeon with professor Sana he thought professor Jeon likes her and now is heartbroken " Jin asked and facepalmed when Jimin again nodded.

"He is seriously an idiot " Jin shook his head being done. "No Jin it's common when you see the person you like being close with others. How will you react if professor Kim was close with any other female colleague" Ami said thoughtfully

"I would have beaten his ass to plump if he dared to look at any other person besides me" Jin answered angrily "So think about Tae what would he be feeling " Jin nodded his head understanding Ami's words.

"But now we should make him understand about his feeling because he still didn't realized his feelings towards Professor Jeon " Jimin spoke looking at them.

"Your right let's talk to him" they all turned towards Tae just to find him sleeping like a baby. The smiled at him softly "Let's talk to him once we reach their for now let him rest"

They started talking about how to make Tae realize his feeling and get him and Jungkook close. After some discussion they also thought to grab some sleep so once they reach their they wouldn't be sleepy and can enjoy their tour fully.

Throughout the journey they slept like a log without having any idea about the roller coaster ride they will be going through in the camp.
