Chapter 31

It has been 6 months since that hospital incident. Tae had been discharged and is living with Jungkook since then. Jungkook took Tae on multiple dates to make him forget about Dohyun and also took him for therapy to avoid getting his anxiety disorder.

Tae has been living happily with Jungkook  since then and also kept attending his classes as his exams are approaching. Jungkook has been showering him with immense love which made him forget everything about the past incident.

Today from morning Jungkook is quite restless because today they are going to meet Tae's mother and going to reveal their relationship to her. They hadn't told her about Dohyun matter yet so Jungkook was more worried about that.

"Calm down will you it's just a normal meeting" Tae was saying the same thing for the seventh time now but Jungkook was anxious "It's not just a normal meeting it's my first meet with my future mother-in-law" Jungkook said looking at his reflection.

"Hey you are looking dashing stop checking yourself I'm sure Mom is going to like you" Tae said holding Jungkook's hand. Jungkook took a long deep breath and finally calmed down "Let's go or else we will be late Mom must be waiting for us" Tae said. Jungkook nodded his head and they both left for Tae's house in Jungkook's car. Soon they reached there.

Tae ranged the bell and the door was opened by Yuna who immediately hugged Tae as soon as she saw him. "My baby how have you been" Yuna asked "I'm good Mom" Tae replied breaking the hug.

"Who is he" Yuna asked when she noticed Jungkook standing there nervously "I will tell you Mom everything first let us get inside" Tae said making Yuna facepalm "Come inside boys"

"Hello Aunt I'm Jeon Jungkook" Jungkook bowed "Aunt these are for you" Jungkook handed Yuna a bouquet of rose which he had bought on their way. "This are beautiful thanks son" Yuna took the bouquet and gestured them to come inside.

Jungkook and Tae went inside and sat on the living room sofa. "You guys sit here I will bring some refreshments"

Yuna went inside the kitchen and brought juices and snacks "Mom I have something to tell you" Tae said with a nervous smile "What is it" Yuna asked looking between Tae and Kook keeping her eyes on the joined hand of both of them. She had a hunch what they were going to say.

"This is Jeon Jungkook my university professor" tuna nodded her head urging him to continue "And my boyfriend" Tae said making Yuna shock for a moment.

Jungkook was getting anxious looking at Yuna who had blank face for a moment before she squealed loudly "Oh my gosh my baby has grown up I knew that he was boyfriend the time I saw him" Jungkook and Tae were looking at Yuna with dropped jaw.

"Aunt you don't have any problem" Jungkook asked hesitantly "Why would I have any problem with this if my son is happy with you then I am also happy. I got positive vibes from you the moment I saw you but you must promise me to take care of my baby and not make him cry" Yuna said and smiled widely hearing Jungkook's next words

"I love him more than anything I promise you Aunt I will not do anything that would make him cry because I also can't bear his tears" Jungkook said pulling Tae closer by his waist making him blush

"I'm going to get some sweets it's a good news and Jungkook stop calling me Aunt call me Mom you are also like my son now" Yuna went inside to get sweets

While Jungkook's eyes teared up at that. "Hyung" Tae called when he saw Jungkook lost in his thoughts smiling like a fool "Yes baby?" Jungkook asked when he saw Tae being hesitate.

"I want to meet your parents hyung" Tae said Jungkook went stiff for a moment and the smile on his face vanished "Please hyung they are your parents I know they have made grave mistakes but they have also suffered. They have already lost one son and their other son has become distant from them. It's enough now hyung forgive them and yourself too and move on from the past" Tae said giving Jungkook his puppy eyes.

"If you want I can let you meet them but I can't forget what they did I need time to forgive them" Jungkook replied looking away.

"It's alright take your time" Tae said"What are you guys talking about" Yuna asked coming back with sweets "We were talking about meeting with hyungs parents" Tae replied eating sweets. "Yeah you should take their blessings too" Yuna said smiling making the pair smile too.

They talked for about an hour and left from there. Jungkook also informed Yuna about Tae staying with him. Now they both were heading to Jeon mansion according to Tae's request.

Standing in front of the door Tae had a smile on his face while Jungkook's face was blank "Come on hyung at least smile a little" Tae pinched Jungkook's biceps Jungkook just gave him a light lipped smile.

Mrs.Jeon opened the door to see Jungkook standing there. Her eyes turned glossy seeing her son after 6 months "Son you came back" she said Jungkook nodded his head "Come inside" Mrs.jeon was confused seeing an unfamiliar face with Jungkook but nonetheless gestured them to come inside.

Tae and Jungkook went inside with Mrs.jeon "Good afternoon Aunt I'm Taehyung Kim Taehyung" Tae introduced himself with a bright smile after settling on the couch "My boyfriend" Jungkook added in a blank tone.

Mrs.jeon was shocked hearing this but smiled widely seeing his son moving on in his life "Omo you are so cute" she said pinching Tae's cheeks making him shy.

"Jungkook what a pleasant surprise my boy" Mr.jeon came said coming downstairs and was happy to see his son. "Honey my son had brought our son-in-law look he is so adorable" Mrs.jeon squealed with happy tears. "Really" Mr.jeon asked in a surprised tone

"Hello uncle I'm Taehyung" Tae bowed respectfully to Mr.jeon. "No need for formalities son call us Mom Dad if Jungkook has chosen you then you must be really a nice boy" Mr.Jeon said taking a seat beside his wife.

This time Jungkook didn't maintain his blank face and smiled a little looking at the interaction between his parents and his boyfriend. He may not show it but deep inside he was craving for his family's love.

"Mom Dad let's forget the past and try to move on it would surely take some time for me to trust you guys fully and I hope this time you will now break my trust" Jungkook said in a gentle tone smiling when Tae hold his hand intertwining.

Mr and Mrs Jeon didn't waste time and pulled Jungkook in their embrace "We won't son we have made this mistake once we will not repeat it" they both said with wide smile and teary eyes.

Jungkook also hugged them back enjoying their warmth. Tae was looking at them with soft smile when Mrs. Jeon embraced him "Thank you son I know he forgive us because of you. You gave our son back to us" Tae hugged her back along with Jungkook and Mr.jeon embracing them.
