Her little monster (Indoraptor x Reader)

What is that thing?.....

Everything comes back to you remember everything that happened the day before. This confirmed even more when you hear Indiego's soft breaths as he sleeps curled up tightly. You take a minute to realize all this is real and you are actually in this situation. You become slightly scared as you realize....there is no redoing anything on this island....you have one shot...you miss..and you will BE missed. As if he sensed your fear indiego awakes and his eyes settle on your fearful ones. He rises up and stretches his tired limbs with a large yawn. He stalks up to you and nuzzles your forehead as he tries to ease your mind in his own way.

You smile and pet his snout . "Thank you, boy." he huffs and steps back to allow you to get up. You stand and stretch as well as you walk the bathroom to do your morning routine as indiego watches intently with a head tilt. You complete your routine and get dressed. You realize you're in the jungle so you grab more clothes fit for running, swimming and anything else you might need to do.

You put on thick boots to withstand mud and protect your feet and jeans loose enough to do move around in and a shirt that's able to blend in with darkness and gloves to protect your hands against any plants or anything harmful for your hands. You put your hair up (and/or if you have shorter hair you brush your hair behind your ears). You then test out your outfit and indiego sniffs around the mansion and gets very feisty as if he's insured some bad things here. "You good, ripper?" You say slightly worried. He trills and nudges you. You soothe him and rubs his snout. He calms down and he trots down a hallway. You follow him as you just stare at a blank white wall. "What are you showing me? There's nothing there" he roars and claws at the wall. You think hard and put your hands on the smooth, sleek wall as you look for any differences.

Just when you think their is nothing there,
your hands find two areas in the wall that seem to push back...like buttons. "W-what the-". You say as your eyes widen and you push them all the way back as the wall splits in two to reveal an elevator. You step in as in as indiego huffs and walks off. You see the last of his tail as you are met with the closing doors of the elevator. There are 5 floors and each one has its own significance. You click on the very bottom floor. You don't even feel the elevator move before the doors open. You're met with a huge lab with enclosures. You see the glowing monitors and you look through the files until you stop on the file named "INDORAPTOR".
Your eyes widen as you see all the videos and pictures before you hear a guttural and deep raptor like bark and jolt with a shriek.

You turn and glare at indiego as he has a smug smile.
"You're sick ,you know that?" He trills and nuzzles your neck with his snout. You pet him and nudge him away. "Little asshole". You say as you look back at the monitor as indiego sits patiently. You walk back to the monitor and click on the first file. There is an egg seemingly ready to hatch as you keep watching you see the egg hatch and an orange eye is seen, you look back at indiego as he huffs, a confirmation that this small Dino was indeed him. The new born ripper cried and whines as the egg was slowly broken. He looked around the lab and was cleaned up by the scientists.

Another video plays of ripper hunting and seemingly being trained....a soldier was holding a gun with a red button and a laser was laid on another bigger predator.
You instantly know this is gonna go bad and indiego starts growling a bit. "Oh no...".you say worried.
The soldier presses the red button and ripper lets out a terrifying roar and charges at the larger predator only for the larger predator to send him flying using tail whip. As you hear his yelp and cry you instantly hug indiego as you continue watching. He went through many tests, running, hunting, fighting, killing, obedience and patience, anything you could possibly think of. All while being abused...they used shock sticks for him to listen and he eventually became more spastic and aggressive and violent.

Even on other videos though he was scared....he was always scared...he's still scared...you find a hard drive and download the whole file onto it before putting it in your pocket. You look back at him and pet him. "I'm sorry you went through that...you don't go through that again, not with me." He nudges your forehead with his snout and stands and walks down a corridor as you follow as you see an enclosure with claw marks...this was his...he was abused in this same enclosure....then it clicked. "That's how you know where this place is...this was your home..." you say as you look around. You start to wander around and find what seems like an enormous refrigerator. You open it and find dead animals from goats to cows and seemingly still fresh.

Then the smell hit your nose with a vicious right hook and made you gag. "Ooh! Damn..aw hell no that's foul" you say as you cover your nose. You get an idea and check the state of the meat and....it was fresh? This is one hell of a refrigerator. You remember indiego has not eaten yet and so you picks up a dead goat...while trying not to regurgitate. You drag it back to indiego, "hey, hungry hungry hippo, i found something for you to munch on!", you say as he turns and growls lowly at the name. He sniffs the goat and nibbles on it before he suddenly trill and he absolutely annihilates the goat as your turn and cringe at the smush and crunch sounds.

As he feeds, you go back in the lab, you look for any other information about indiego in the computer, files, boards and anything else. You do find papers and a whole file in the "I" section of the file box about him. It mentions a lot of him shaking, having poor posture, lacking authority, and is unable to bond with any human. It's also stating that he portrays a disturbing level of intelligence and...sadistic behavior. Your brows furrowed as you think back to if he has had that behavior around you. You keep reading to see he was made for military purposes and supposed to be used in combat and war. You look at his DNA to see all he was created with you then realize he's most likely an apex predator like never before.

You take all files and put them in a briefcase you found. While's doing so you heard screams and you look back to see a video ripper mauling a human worker who seemed to be fixing a malfunctioning light in his cage. Your eyes widened as you saw the poor worker being attacked ruthlessly. Then it dawned on you, you might be the only person to have genuinely helped him no strings attached. That realization alone broke your heart into billions of pieces. You then log into the park's cameras and look to find out how ripper is out anyway. Days fast forward on the camera and You first saw more soldiers shocking him unnecessarily and an hour later, he burst out the cage and ran out for the much larger and heavier elevator (most likely for transporting dinosaurs up and down the floors) "so that's how he got down here..." you say as you think back to when he snuck up on you and scared you purposely-wait could that be counted as sadistic behavior?....nah it's more asshole-ish behavior honestly. You watch as he darts out the mansion using the dinosaur exit and out into the jungle. You cut to another camera and see a pack of velociraptors attacking him, he puts up a good fight though as he throws them off and manages to scare them away. He limps away and you see his body adorned with scars from the encounter and shaking. He's scared. "Oh poor baby...." You say as you continue watching. He then lays down at a serene area away from anything and anyone as he rests. The shaking quickly dying down. Then you see yourself helping his wounds about 4 hours later. You then realize how this all came together.

You then walk back to viridian as he finished up his goat. He lets out a burp and huffs after. At least he has manners. "You're excused", you say giggling. You look around at the lab and have an idea. "Why don't we make this our base...if you're okay with it, of course." You suggest politely. You see viridian huff as he thinks and smiles at you and nudged your forehead. You pick up a map of the mansion and see a training area. You look up at him as he glares at you already knowing what you're thinking. " I'm training you..." you say dead serious. He growls in protest. "Okay, fine go ahead and be a meal for any challenging dinosaur."
You say knowing you're gonna win this argument.
He huffs again and hangs his head in defeat.
"Mhm, now let's get you some water."

After that, the day was spent cleaning and fixing and setting up in the base. Then you sat on your bed as indiego slumped over as well, obviously ready to get some sleep. As he falls asleep, you think about all he's went through and you swore to yourself, you'd protect him at all costs. And soon after you were lulled off to sleep.

After all, you're gonna need as much sleep as you can get.
