Yoshiko sat on her bed at home, holding half-kilogram weights in each hand as she moved her wrists in circles, eyebrows twitching in annoyance when she felt her arms grow tired. She dropped the weights on the bed and flexed her fingers. The doctors had discharged her a week back, thanks to Recovery Girl. She'd been at her house ever since instead of going back to the dorms. As much as she loved her classmates, they could be a little rowdy at times, and she knew she'd give into the sweet temptation of training after watching them. So, she preferred staying here to regain her strength. Even Aizawa had agreed and said he'd send her the daily assignments on her email.

The class came to visit her twice and left her sweet treats and food they knew she'd love. Katsuki was able to come over only once, but Yoshiko wasn't upset about it since she knew how busy he was with work studies and training for the upcoming sports festival. He still FaceTimed her every night, and she'd often lovingly watch him snore when he fell asleep in the middle of a sentence.

Speaking of the sports festival, Yoshiko was allowing herself to rest well just because of that. She did a few exercises the doctor permitted her, but she planned on training only once she felt better.

She got off the bed, slipping on her fuzzy slippers to go downstairs, where she knew Daisuke would be. He was transferred from jail to home for a house arrest. He still didn't have complete freedom, but it was better than nothing, and Yoshiko was positive he'd be pronounced innocent soon since the people who had fled their houses after Daisuke burnt their homes to crisps had returned to give their statements saying that Daisuke had actually saved them from a cruel death. It was going to take a lot of visits to the court, but she was hopeful.

She found her brother at the dining table with his feet propped up. He had an ankle bracelet on one of his ankles. It was as if she had travelled back in time when she'd wake up every morning to see him at the dining table. It brought her immense happiness, but being Yoshiko, she scrunched up her nose and gagged, "Get your dogs off the table."

"Damn, cereal tastes so good." Daisuke groaned, shoving a spoonful of plain cereal in his mouth. Before Yoshiko could open her mouth to reply, Bear entered the kitchen, barking. Yoshiko grinned at the dog and kneeled, opening her arms for him. Bear whined and nuzzled under her neck, putting his paws on her shoulders as he stood on his hind legs. He had been extra clingy ever since Yoshiko got back home.

"Bear, hey, buddy," Daisuke snapped his fingers at Bear. Bear left Yoshiko and wagged his tail at him excitedly. Daisuke patted his head, and Yoshiko smiled at the two. This was perfect.

"Up early as ever, I see." Saori yawned, entering the kitchen. She put a hand on her hip and smiled at the dual-tone hair siblings, "Good to see my little Oreos are back. Now, who's up for pancakes?"

"Me," Daisuke drooled, and Yoshiko smacked her hand onto his head and shook it around like a joystick, "Don't forget this guy could eat five families' worth of food in one sitting."

"You ain't any different," Daisuke hissed.

"Yes, I am." Yoshiko retorted, "I can only eat two families' worth of food in one sitting. There's a difference!"

"I will throw you out of the window." Daisuke threatened.

"Saori, Daisuke is being really mean."

Saori sighed to herself with a smile as she gathered ingredients. She was just glad the two had reunited even though they were bickering like cats and dogs behind her, yelling cuss words in the open, which she knew would get Yoko mad early in the morning.

"It's only nine in the morning, you two." Yoko frowned, stumbling into the kitchen. She greeted Saori and sat at the table across from Yoshiko and Daisuke. Her heart stirred, seeing both her kiddos in one place.
