Soft rays of sunlight peeking through the curtains hit Yoshiko's closed eyelids, slowly waking her up. She opened her eyes a minuscule, looking down when she felt steady breaths hit her bare stomach. How did he get there? She smiled sleepily and placed a hand in his hair, shutting her eyes again. There was no point in getting out of bed early since there was no school for a week. Not like she'd be able to get out anyway when his face was buried in her stomach, and his arms were wrapped around her legs, holding onto her like she was his life force.

She drifted in and out of sleep as her shoulders grew cold. With no shirt or blanket, her upper body felt cold. Katsuki was graciously heating her legs and stomach. She nudged him, trying to get his head back in the pillow. He grumbled incoherently and rolled to his back, spreading himself like a starfish.

"Katsuki, up here," She poked, "I'm cold."

"Tch," He opened an eye and looked up at her, scratching his bedhead. He grabbed the blanket from the floor and put it on them, his head hitting the pillow. Yoshiko shifted closer to him, shoulders feeling warmer.

It felt nice knowing they did not have to rush waking up and could sleep and cuddle for however long they wanted, even though they were partially awake. Bakugo found solace in the fact that they could enjoy each other's company without having to do anything. Quiet, warm and comfortable moments like this, where they were in a tangle of arms and legs, meant the world to him.

With an arm over her, Bakugo thought of how his younger self would have never believed him if he told him that he was so madly in love with this girl. In fact, his younger self would gag and throw a tantrum because first of all, 'Ew, girls' and second of all, 'How can you love someone so like you? Don't you want to constantly beat the shit out of them? She even has the same quirk as yours. How can you love her?'

He'd tell his younger self he wasn't sure when he'd started falling. Was it during the internship last year? Or after that, when they grew closer? His face grew warm as he considered that even though he loathed her when they fought on her first day, he knew a part of him had fallen for her right at that moment.

Bakugo opened his eyes and glanced at her, her eyelids shut, eyelashes resting on her cheek. Unable to help himself, he kissed her eyebrow, and she opened her eyes, peeking up at him with half her face buried in the blanket, "What's with the heart eyes?"

"Shut up, go back to sleep." He replied, morning voice deep and raspy.

"Been awake for an hour or more," She admitted.

"Same, since ya wouldn't stop whining f'me to get on the pillow."

"Yeah, you were drooling on my stomach." She rolled her eyes, pushing her index to his chest.

"I do not drool." He retorted.

"Sure do." The twinkle of mischief didn't go unnoticed by Bakugo, and he lay on top of her, letting his body loose, making her squeal and giggle, "Let me go, you fatty!"

"Ugh, why is the mattress talking?" Bakugo smirked to himself as she tried to shimmy away.

"Katsuki, I will chomp your arm off," She threatened.

"Oh, no! My mattress has learnt to give threats! Maybe I should mind my language around it."

"Katsuki!" Yoshiko groaned, bringing sparks to her palms.

"Alright, Alright, don't burn yer damn sheets." He chuckled, getting off her and returning to his previous position. Yoshiko huffed and sat up, the blanket falling off her shoulder. Bakugo immediately grinned, staring at the artwork he had created on her shoulders last night, "Heh."
