Yoshiko and Shinsou made their way into the school building, stopping by the lockers to change into their school shoes as the former animatedly blabbed about a new thriller novel she had just read.

"I was totally not expecting the plot twist." She said, opening her locker.

"Let me borrow that book when we get home," Shinsou said. The way she lively summarised books for him made every book sound good.

"I was gonna shove that book onto you anyways." She giggled, making Shinsou roll his eyes.

"Shinsou-kun!" A cheerful voice sounded behind them. They turned around to see the bubbly blue-headed Aktugawa Aoi. "And Akimitsu-san."

"Hey," Shinsou said calmly. While his expression remained stoic, his stomach was full of butterflies.

"Hey, Aktugawa!" Yoshiko smiled at the bluenette.

Aoi fished her bag and handed Shinsou a bar of chocolate, blushing. Yoshiko tried not to smirk at her friend, who she knew was internally squealing.

"T-thanks." Shinsou took the chocolate from her, pocketing it.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you'd be coming to school with him today." Aoi apologised.

"Oh, it's totally fine." Yoshiko waved a hand. "I just happened to come earlier today." Yoshiko usually came to school a few minutes later than Shinsou since she had to fill Bears bowls and take him for a walk after her workout.

"I'll carry a few extra sweets with me next time!" Aoi chimed. "I have to get to class now, bye!"

"See ya." Yoshiko waved after her.

Once she was out of sight, Yoshiko wiggled her eyebrows at Shinsou, who sweatdropped at her antic.

"Did my eyes betray me?" Kaminari said from the locker beside hers. "Shinsou just got chocolate from a cute girl!" He gasped.

"Correction," Yoshiko waved her index at Kaminari, tutting. "Shinsou's c-"

Before Yoshiko could complete her sentence, Shinsou clapped his hand on her mouth and dragged her away. Kaminari looked at the pair, amused.

"Reminds me of Kirishima and Bakugo," Jirou said, putting on her school shoes. Kaminari jumped when he heard Jirou.

"Shit, you scared me!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Loser."

"Why do you do me like that." Kaminari winced.

As soon as she said goodbye to Shinsou and Yoshiko, she ran to the bathroom, trying to get her thoughts in order. Aoi liked Shinsou. She knew she liked him. She was well aware of her crush on the lavender head. But seeing him so friendly with Yoshiko made her stomach turn.

Shinsou had mentioned that she was his best friend. It still made Aoi mad. Aoi removed her glasses and glared at her reflection in the mirror, scowling.

"Akimitsu Yoshiko," Aoi said out loud. There was no one around to listen. "You're a thorn in my path..."

"Your tests from the English test were so bad." Present Mic shook his head. "The only ones who got the highest scores are... Akimitsu, Shinsou and Todoroki."
