It was now around four thirty and I knew the boys would be here soon. Me, being the highly responsible person I was, succeeded with burning the pasta sauce and my hand. My precious, flawless, soft hand. Me being me I simply shoved the pot under cold water while picking up my phone and dialed the number I knew by heart.
"Hello?" the soft, angelic voice spoke out, the voice I knew all too well, "May I take your order?" Valentino.
"Hey dude, it's Kellin. Can I get a really large pizza with like cheese and stuff on it? And can you bring it up here? Same address as usual." I heard people working on the other side of the call and waited for Valentino to scribble my address down with my order. I placed a damp towel on my burnt hand as I waited for my hero to tell me that it was all going to be okay.
"An extra large pizza with two different cheeses, meat and two dip sauces. Will that be it Mr Quinn?" Ah, Valentino continue to talk dirty to me.
"That'd be it, thanks, Valentino." I said and listened to his 'no problemo' before hanging up and turning the stove off. Well, at least I tried to cook. Mom always said that trying won't tie your shoes, succeeding will, but at least I succeeded with ordering a pizza.
After changing to a white plain shirt I heard a faint knocking on my door. I hurriedly walked to the entrance of my apartment and opened the door to reveal a distressed Vic. I smiled warmly at him and invited him inside.
"This whole neighborhood is confusing. I literally knocked on the same old lady's door two times asking for a guy named Quinn! She was furious with me, accusing me of trying to sell her a glass door when really I was asking for help to find your apartment." Vic said as he tossed his coat to the floor and took of his shoes. I laughed and closed the door behind him while showing him the way to the sofa.
"You'll have to excuse her, she's been having some trouble with the company Qwinn trying to sell her a glass door to her balcony for a few years now. They always think she'll change her mind so they keep coming back." I explained and chuckled along with Vic as we sat down on the sofa. I kind of want to ask him if he has a prom date. And if he doesn't, he might want to go with me. As if, so instead I fished for my phone in my pocket and opened the Snapchat app. I'm literally going through a Snapchat phase, everything I do everyday is displayed to hundreds of people with a cute filter and an inspiring quote to accompany it. It literally screams aesthetics.
"Oh, I understand. I'll make sure I ask for Kellin Quinn next time," Vic stated proudly as if he was already planning his next visit here. "Weren't we supposed to eat at five? It's ten past now." I pushed the home button on my screen to reveal that Vic was indeed right. Those British little girls were late to my dinner party. I let an annoyed huff escape my lips as me and Vic sat in the sofa listening to the faint screams of the neighbors upstairs. Their names were Sarah and Bert and they were always arguing about the smallest things. Maybe one day I'll fuck Vic so hard he'll moan as high as Ariana Grandes high notes just so my awkward landlord can knock on my door the next day and tell me that he had been 'receving a few complains' about all the 'noise that seem to have come from my apartment' at 3 am in the morning. That'll show them.
I don't know for how long I had been daydreaming about a night with Vic, but what felt like a few seconds seemed to have been minutes when I looked up to see Vic texting someone and completely ignoring the fact that there was people knocking on my door. I stood up and began to make my way towards my door then stopped in the middle of the hallway to see two slightly intoxicated Brits having a hard time opening the door fully and push themselves inside, both at once.
"You're late Joshy," I said to the half drunk boy smiling at me from the doorway.
"The queen is never late," he began, pointing at me with his index finger as he fully stepped inside, pushing Oliver to the side. "everyone else is simply early." he finished and giggled when Oliver helped him out of his shoes. "I brought food. This weird Valencio guy gave it to me when I mentioned your name to Oliver at the entrance." He explained and shoved a rather large pizza box in my hands. I glared at him for not remembering the name of my hero.
"It's Valentino, and how nice of you two to deliver it to me fully sober and in time." I said sarcastically to them but I don't think they were sober enough to understand my sarcasm since Josh happily nodded and Oliver tapped on the glass of his clock. "Alright enough, Josh, get your ass into the kitchen. Oliver do yourself a favour and use my bathroom." I pointed at a white door in a small hallway to his right. Josh walked into the kitchen and sat down on one of the counters. I placed the pizza box down on my table before picking up the towel I used earlier and dampened it even more. I took his hand and placed the towel in it before showing him where to place the towel. As Josh dabbed his forehead with it I prepared a glass of water. "Alcohol isn't the only thing you've been taking today, is it?" I questioned him and gave him the glass of water. He shook his head and handed me the empty glass seconds later.
"Oliver brought some pills. He said it'd be fun and it was." Josh smiled at me and it was then that I actually realized how incredibly drugged he was. I sighed and gave him a small smile.
"What did we say about pills and weed Joshua?" I helped him off the counter and lead him to my bed, where I'd let him sleep for a few hours before we'd all be going to the ice cream café. Josh hung his head low and quietly whispered his response.
"It's a no no,"
"So why'd you do it?" I questioned as I layed him down on my bed and placed the wet towel on his forehead.
"Because I wanted to be cool. Even though I know drugs don't make me cool. Saying no and having my own opinion is cool," Josh said proudly before closing his eyes. I held in my laughter and nodded, even though he couldn't see me, and was about to close the door when he spoke again, "thanks, mama Kells." I then closed the door and began to giggle at the high Brit. He is so out of it, I wish I would've video taped it.
Walking past the bathroom door I saw that it was no longer occupied so I made my way to the livingroom where I knew Vic was silently seated. I feel so bad for Vic. Literally his first impression of Josh was when he shouted his name all over the cafeteria and now Josh being drugged and acting like a 15 year old school girl. He's going to think I'm some kind of drug dealing slut. Oh my god but imagine how cool that would be though! One blowjob for a pack of weed. I should totally start my own business. Alright, I'll figure that out later.
"Oh my god Vic, I am so sorry. There's pizza in the kitchen so we'll just have to eat while Josh rests." Vic laughed and nodded, following me into the kitchen where the freshly made pizza missed two pieces. I looked up to see Oliver leaning against a counter and eating it off a plate he probably found while going through my whole kitchen. At least the asshole knows not to chew with his mouth open. I glared at Oliver as I took a napkin and a slice of pizza too, waiting for Vic to do the same. If he even dares to talk to me right now I will rip off his-
"Drugs make you hungry," Oliver said as he started on his second slice of pizza. I wanted to ignore him so badly, but instead nodded hesitantly.
"Well, I said you were aloud to eat as long as you didn't come all over my floor." I stated and he laughed at me.
