Kellin was twenty minutes late as he sloppily trudged into class, not bothering to apologise to our dear Mr.Pattern for his late arrival. He took the empty seat next to my left, as a pretty boy with brown eyes had occupied my right side, and he quickly wrote something down on a piece of paper.

"Good to see you finally gave a square about your education Quinn," Mr.Pattern said warningly as he continued to write formulas on the board, earning a few chuckles from the jocks. Kellin rolled his eyes and passed a note to me. Me and Vic had a big fight this morning. He really wants me to come to his family dinner this saturday night, but he won't hold my hand or kiss me infront of them. :(

Ugh, I remember this exact scenario from when I was thirteen and had my very first boyfriend, Dan. His parents were high members in the church and were complete homophobes. I wrote him back Haven't he told them yet?

Apparently not, what should I do Josh? I gave Kellin a weak smile, trying to think about what I would do in his situation. doesn't it bother you the slightest that he's basically holding hands with you under the desk but he's shamlessly flirting with that girl Janice? Kellin passed me another note, only after I read what Kellin had wrote I noticed the fact that, yes, indeed Oliver was holding my hand, and playing with my fingers like the hopeless romantic he was, but he was also flirting with Janice. And oh, did it bother me. I want to be the reason for that adorable smile. I diverted my attention back to Kellin who was giving Oliver his best "not impressed" facial expression. what should I do? tell him to stop? it's not like we're a thing I quickly scribbled and passed the note to him. He raised his eyebrows and gave me a questioning look. I obeyed what I thought was what he wanted me to do, and let go of Oliver's hand, placing my now cold hand on the desk. Oliver tensed a little, and stopped paying attention to Janice, only to give me a questioning look too. I shrugged, people and their questioning looks are driving me insane. Like, please people, stop questioning me I know what I'm doing. Unlike Janice who matched a patterned flower blouse with blue pants. Silly girl.

Two more questioning looks from both Oliver and Kellin and a pissed off teacher later, I was handed a piece of paper telling me I had detention because I missed this chemistry class due to notes being passed and inappropriate flirting between table mates. What even was this. To tell you that I was done with school was an understatement.

--

"So, just inappropriate flirting," Oliver commented as he walked me to my locker with his detention slip in his hand. I rolled my eyes at his smirking lanky frame. I was not up for yet another useless detention. There were always your typical emo and jocks in there, chewing gum and texting. Completly breaking the school rules.

"What do you mean just inappropriate flirting?" I ask, mumbling a quiet hello as we passed Max and Matt. I saw Oliver shrug as we continued to walk through the roughly filled corridor.

"I guess I'll just have to try harder," Oliver said as we stopped by his locker. He threw away the detention slip and took his bag before shoving it in his locker. I stayed quiet and followed him to the cafeteria like a lost puppy. Try harder?

"Oliver what did you do to Josh?" Kellin questioned as soon as we took a seat around the circular table. I didn't know I was blushing, if so, then even more now. Oliver shrugged and looked at me as I akwardly scooted closer to Matt, trying to make it look like I actually wanted to have a conversation with him. Which I clearly didn't. Matt only ever talked to Max. Even though I was as careful as a ninja, Oliver chatted away with Dan, yes believe it or not the Dan, pretending to care about his crazy story about his cousin in Madrid while sneakily placing his arm around my waist and pulling me closer to him. A weird dinosaur sound left my mouth, a mix between a fangirls shriek and a desperate whimper. Oliver shot me an amused look before focusing on Dan again. I silently prayed for Kellin to lock eyes with me so he could help me out of this situation, but he simply continued texting. Damn you Bostwick. Oliver moved my shirt a little and began to draw circles on my hipbone. I seriously wanted to scream at how cute he was and how motherfucking cold his hands were. So I did.

"VICTOR!" I screamed, looking directly at him. Everyone in the cafeteria stopped talking for a few seconds before continuing to chatter loudly. I, on the other hand got an awkward wave from Vic who took a seat next to an amused Kellin. (I think he's been texting Vic this whole time, since he's not mad at Vic anymore.) I buried my face in Olivers big hoodie as my whole face turned a bright red color. Do I always have to make a fucking fool out of myself? Yeah Josh, continue to shout names, Oliver will sure enjoy a screaming little twat in his lap. Just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, Oliver started laughing, making my whole head vibrate from his beautiful laugh.

"You can scream out how many names you want as long as it's mine in the bedroom, love," Oliver whispered in my ear and guess what I did. I fucking shrieked. Again. I am such a knobhead please for the love of God how did I not know I was saying that out loud. For heaven's sake, or Satans sake, kill me now.

"Hey Josh, you okay man?" Kellin questioned me as Oliver let out a giggle. I looked up at him, studying his dimples and his whiskey eyes before looking at Kellin.

"I'm absolutely splendid Kellin," I answered and placed my head on Olivers shoulder.

"Gay brits.." Kellin muttered as he began to text again.

--

"Aren't you supposed to be in math class right now?" Vic asked as he and Kellin spotted me laying on Olivers lap on one of the school benches. I glanced at my sneakers before meeting Vic's gaze again.

"I have fourth and fifth period off," I stated simply to Vic. He nodded and smiled as Kellin posed for his phone, ready to take a snapchat picture with Vic.

"Thanks man, I'm so uploading that to My Story," Kellin laughed and locked his phone, now focusing on me. I waved at him and he moved his gaze to Oliver who was currently playing on his phone."Aren't you supposed to be in English Literature with us right now, Oliver?" Kellin said, him and Vic eyeing the hot piece of bread I currently had placed my head on.

"Josh's off so I'm skipping," he stated simply and shrugged. Kellin and Vic both nodded. They left shortly after they had invited me for dinner at their place tonight. "Are they like, a thing?" Oliver questioned, I looked up at his face, admiring his sharp features as he watched his phone. I shrugged.

"I don't think they're boyfriend and boyfriend, but they're getting there," I murmured and diverted my gaze to the ceiling. It wasn't until now I actually started to realize how uncomfortable hard Olivers lap was. "Oliver, are you hard or is your junk really that big?" I questioned with a frown upon my face. He locked his iPhone and looked down on me with a smirk.

"You want to find out?"
