J O S H

When Oliver had left to prepare the last few things before the show I went out to the crowd again, wanting to see my boy sing. Lucky for me there were no signs of the asshole we met earlier, so this far I was having a pretty good time. People were shoving and moving around a lot but when you're on a concert that's something you have to deal with. I stood on the tip of my toes to be able to see what was going on on the stage and I saw Matty laying a hand on Oliver, probably wishing him good luck. I couldn't really be mad at Matty, I mean Oliver did tell me that we were going to get married after all so what was I afraid of?

"You've been great! Let's bring out the last band for tonight on stage! Bring Me The Horizon!" the thin emo guy said. He was wearing a purple shirt and his blonde hair almost reached his shoulders, I think they called themselves Asking Alexandria, I actually liked their last album. I figured I wouldn't get to see Oliver singing if I'd stay behind this tall ass gay for the whole show so I shoved my way to the bar again. Taking a seat, I ordered something not so strong.

"Hi, we're Bring Me The Horizon and we'll play a few songs for you guys today" Oliver's sweet voice beamed through the room and the crowd cheered, wanting a reason to dance and shout. Oliver smiled at the crowd, he was truly in his element. A certain vibration in my pocket made me stop staring at my boyfriend, and I grabbed my phone to read the text.

I'm sorry that I'm breaking up with you over text but I just couldn't go on stage knowing you were my boyfriend. Please understand that now that my career is starting I can't be in a relationship, I need to date other men, fuck other chicks. Still friends though, right? :-)

A silent 'what' escaped my mouth as I read the text again. But this doesn't make any sense? I'll have to talk to him after the show, this doesn't sound like him? We were supposed to get married and have a fucking dog. I glanced up again only to meet Oliver's eyes, he smiled at me and I just stared at him. Why the fuck is he smiling at me, he just broke up with me over text?

"This song is called Anthem"

I barely listened to Oliver or his band as I read the text again, for the third time this night. It just didn't make any sense.

"Rough night?" a guy with brown hair asked me as he leaned on the bar in front of me. I locked eyes with him and noticed the lovely shade of sky blue they were. His lips were decorated with a lip ring and a smirk was clearly showing, it fitted him well.

"You could say so," I responded and used my hand to gesture to the empty chair that stood next to me. He smiled and sat down, ordering a few shots from the bartender. I recognized this dude.

"Good, then I guess you won't say no to shot with me" he passed me two shots and kept three for himself. I raised my eyebrows at him, forgetting all about the text message and the fact that Oliver was singing on stage.

"Is that a challenge?"

"I believe it is" he responded and raised one of his shots, I raised mine too. "On the count of three. One, two" he downed his shot before he had counted to three and I gasped like a teenage girl gasps when they hear gossip.

"That's cheating!" I said as I took in all of his beauty, pale skin with tattoos, like Oliver's. His sharp jawline that were slightly covered in sweat, probably from the heat in the club, his styled hair that once was straight but had now become wavy at the ends because of the sweat framed his face nicely.

"Sorry, let's do it again. This time you can count" he raised another glass, carefully touching it with mine. I counted to three and we downed both of our shots as quickly as we could, he won. "Sorry princess, maybe next time"
