Secret | Jaehyun x Woonhak

Now, Woonhak wasn't the only one hiding something big in their friendship. He always felt bad about hiding such a big thing like his sexuality, because he was practically sure that Jaehyun didn't have anything to hide. But he actually did have something hidden from everyone. Even Woonhak. If something was hidden from either one of the two, it meant that it was truly a secret.

Now it wasn't as big of a secret as Woonhak, nor as life altering. But he still felt embarrassed about it. He'd created many, many different presents for the younger boy. It was in multiple art forms.  Paintings, drawings, sketches, song lyrics, music production and even much more. He went through the pretext that it was all platonic.

But most people wouldn't really consider a serenade platonic. Although the lyrics weren't very obvious as with most serenades, he still had found a way with words.

The two boys were hanging out at Jaehyun's house. It was decided just the day before, luckily, it gave him enough time to hide everything he made for Woonhak. If the younger boy ever found out about that, he would be beyond embarrassed.

Woonhak was going through Jaehyun's closet, picking some clothes he would borrow. They did it with each other, Jaehyun's clothes were Woonhak's and vice versa. Today, in fact, the taller big was wearing one of his friend's hoodies.

Jaehyun was only wearing his own clothes today as it had been a couple of days since he went over to Woonhak's house. So he didn't have any of his clothes to wear.

After searching for a couple of seconds, he didn't find anything so he closed the closet and went over to Jaehyun's desk. He was sitting on his bed, as if he was supervising the younger boy.

Woonhak took one of the colognes sitting on a shelf, right above the desk. He smelled it quickly and didn't even ask Jaehyun for his permission, as it was already mutually agreed that anything one of them owned belonged to both of them.

He sprayed it onto his neck, Jaehyun still staring at him, not moving or speaking at all. Once Woonhak was done, he went closer to Jaehyun to sit next to him. The latter followed him with his eyes.

For some reason, they both felt like this was the time to have a deep conversation with each other; as if it was telepathic. Woonhak knew this was the moment he would have to talk about his sexuality. It would get a lot off his chest. Especially the fact that he was hiding a huge secret.

"Jaehyun-hyung.. would you promise to still love me no matter what?" The love that was used in the question was meant in a platonic way. As it always was any time the word was mentioned during the chattering.

Jaehyun didn't understand why Woonhak was doubting his (platonic) love for him. He would always love him, no matter what.

Tears started forming in his eyes, seeing Woonhak about to cry made Jaehyun start crying. He tightly hugged him around the waist. It wasn't a surprising reaction from him.

"I'm gay" Woonhak continued, once he saw Jaehyun nod, and stick out his pinky, for a pinky promise. The older boy didn't immediately react, he didn't know what to say. He just continued hugging his best friend.

"I still love you the same" He whispered after a couple of seconds, running his hand through Woonhak's hair, with the other still wrapped around his waist. The younger boy nodded and buried his head on his shoulder.

"Thank you hyung" He whispered back in his ear. Silence then filled the room, though there was nothing awkward about it at all. They didn't know how to continue the conversation, either with the same topic or a completely new one.

"You're giving me that hoodie right?" Jaehyun asked, Woonhak broke away from the hug and looked down. He panicked for a short while and quickly gave it back to him. The older boy chuckled, he found the way he kept on apologising was cute.

He forced the green hoodie back in Woonhak's hand and stood up. The younger boy stood up and opened the closet door. He quickly folded it on the desk before neatly putting it inside.

"There! It's yours, you'll keep it!" Woonhak exclaimed, closing the door before facing Jaehyun. He was smiling widely, the cutest smile the latter had ever seen. A smile he never ever wanted to forget due to how precious it was.
