Secret | Jaehyun x Woonhak

(VII)

Woonhak and Riwoo were waiting on Jaehyun, for him to arrive at the park. Which was where they would be meeting up. Obviously, the two went together.

They were sitting on the bench. Well, Riwoo was laying down, his legs were folded while Woonhak was struggling to sit due to the lack of space on the bench.

Their faces immediately lit up when seeing Jaehyun arrive. His hair was a complete mess, he probably ran. So with the wind, of course it would be messed, combine that with running, it would be a miracle to have perfectly brushed hair.

Jaehyun forced Riwoo to sit normally, but the elder refused. He stayed completely still. He looked at Woonhak, to ask him to stand up, so that Riwoo would follow them once they started walking away.

And that is exactly what happened, while walking hand in hand towards the exit of the park. Riwoo ran after them and took their hands away from each other.

"Oh an ice cream parlour! Can we go hyung?" Woonhak asked when laying eyes on the shop a couple of metres in front of them. Riwoo was about to refuse due to eating just a short while ago, and he didn't want to spend money or wait in line. But Jaehyun cut him off, obviously saying yes. He would do anything for Woonhak.

Jaehyun grabbed the two by the hands and pulled them over to the shop. Obviously, Woonhak was much more enthusiastic than Riwoo.

Jaehyun reassured him by telling him that he would pay for whatever he chose.  For whatever Woonhak wanted, that obviously wouldn't be any question, the elder was going to buy him something.

Once they finished getting their food, they continued their walk through downtown. Despite living in a rather small city, they still had quite a few shops. Including a couple of restaurants.

It also had some sportswear stores and a bookstore. They didn't go that often though, they'd rather stay indoors, at one of their houses. Especially Riwoo, being the only introvert in their friend group.

"Oh god" Jaehyun muttered when laying eyes on two boys near the fountain. The tallest of the two was doing some types of tricks on his skateboard while the other looked at him, admiring him.

The skater boy was unmistakably Han Taesan, flexing his skateboarding skill to the younger boy. That being Kim Leehan.

Jaehyun quickly pulled his friends in a different direction, Riwoo admittedly wanted to go see him, to talk to him, but he didn't have to go desperately.

"Do you want to go see them?" Jaehyun asked once noticing Riwoo's disappointed face. The elder looked slightly ashamed, he looked at the floor before shyly nodding.

Jaehyun chuckled when seeing his cute reaction, he let him go towards Taesan. Riwoo told them that they could continue hanging out together.

The older boy quickly glanced at him, first examining his face, but then looking down, towards his lips. He quickly had to  remind himself that it wasn't normal, so he looked straight ahead.

Their fingers slowly but surely interlocked. Nothing really special, that's just how their friendship was like. And how it would always be like.
