Secret | Jaehyun x Woonhak

Woonhak was waiting for Jaehyun to arrive at school. He was impatiently waiting for the older boy, to give him a cute keychain he bought at the market the day before. But when he saw the elder arrive, he noticed how pale he looked. He was completely lost in thought as well, something that wasn't normal for him.

Woonhak knew something was wrong, so he ran towards him, hugging him briefly. Not really knowing the cause of this hug. It was mostly for concern. He thought that Jaehyun might've been sick. It was why he was already looking through his bag for some medication he could give his best friend.

Jaehyun noticed this, and took his hand away from the front pocket. He closed the bag for him. He explained how he wasn't ill. He realised that he wasn't ready to exactly expose what happened in his dream earlier. So the easiest way to explain the pale nature of his skin today, he had to lie. Something he hated, but something he had to do way to often. Mostly regarding his familial situation, but it wasn't important as of now.

"Just a bit spooked" Now that wasn't exactly a lie, but it was a very bent truth. He was scared of his sexuality, and the reaction that he would get from people if he was truly homosexual. But what he was spooked about would never be told out loud for now. Especially not to Woonhak, whom he "reassured" that he was straight for months, many many times.

Woonhak asked him what happened this morning while bringing him inside the school building, to the bathroom. He grabbed one of the papel towels from the dispenser and drenched it in some warm water.

"Huge spider in my closet" Woonhak hummed, Jaehyun's paleness now was not a surprise at all. It could even be considered a normal reaction for most rational people.

Woonhak looked at the paper towel for a while, he wasn't sure if it would do anything effective towards Jaehyun's current state. But it was always worth a try. The worst thing some warm water could do was do absolutely nothing.In the best case, Jaehyun would look much less sick.

Nothing really happened with the water so Woonhak just took the piece of paper and threw the towel in the bin. He apologized to Jaehyun for not being able to help him; as if it was an absolute must, and a sin if he didn't do it.

"Don't worry Woonhak, it's not your fault!' Jaehyun ruffled Woonhak's hair in a friendly way. They then left the bathroom and decided to go to the classroom of their first class of the day.
