The anticipation for the Monaco Grand Prix had reached a fever pitch, and I was practically vibrating with excitement. Oscar and I had spent the morning ensuring everything was set for an unforgettable weekend with Victoria and Sophie. The streets of Monaco were alive with energy, and I could hardly wait for their arrival.
Oscar lounged on the couch, casually flipping through channels. "So, you ready for this weekend?" he asked with a mischievous grin. "And how's the endless texting with Victoria?"
I adjusted my jacket in front of the mirror, a grin tugging at my lips. "I'm more than ready. And yes, the texting has been pretty constant. She's really excited about being here."
Oscar chuckled. "You're practically glowing. I haven't seen you this hyped since, well, forever."
"Can't help it," I said, grabbing my keys. "It's going to be amazing."
As we headed to the airport, the streets of Monaco buzzed with activity. The setting sun cast a golden glow over the city, heightening the excitement. Oscar was practically bouncing with energy beside me.
"This weekend is going to be epic," he said, eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Monaco, the Grand Prix, and Victoria and Sophie—it's the perfect combination."
"I couldn't agree more," I said, scanning the crowd as we arrived at the airport. "It's going to be great to have them here."
Spotting Victoria and Sophie in the terminal was easy. Victoria looked radiant in a chic dress that accentuated her effortless elegance. Her smile when she saw me was infectious, and my heart skipped a beat.
"Logan!" Victoria called out, her voice bright with excitement.
I hurried over and pulled her into a warm hug, feeling her softness against me. "Hey, Victoria! It's so great to see you."
"You too!" she replied, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Monaco is amazing already."
Sophie joined us, her vibrant energy complementing Victoria's. "Hi, Oscar!" she said, giving him a friendly hug. "I've been looking forward to this."
"Hi, Sophie," Oscar said, grinning. "Glad you both made it."
We quickly loaded their bags into the car and began the drive to our apartment. The conversation flowed easily, punctuated by Oscar's playful teasing.
"So, Logan," Oscar said with a smirk, "how many times have you texted Victoria today?"
"Let's just say, I'm keeping my phone charged," I replied, glancing at Victoria. "We've been catching up a lot."
Victoria laughed. "We have. It's been really nice."
Oscar leaned back in his seat, teasing. "I bet you've been sharing all your top-secret Monaco plans with her."
"I might have mentioned a few things," I said, smiling. "But I wanted it to be a surprise."
As we arrived back at the apartment, the energy was high. The place was buzzing with the promise of an exciting weekend. I led Victoria and Sophie inside, showing them around and making sure they felt at home.
"Make yourselves comfortable," I said, gesturing to the living area. "We're heading out for dinner and then to a club later, so feel free to relax for a bit."
Victoria looked around, clearly impressed. "This place is amazing. I can't wait to explore more."
Oscar flopped down on the couch with a grin. "So, what's everyone in the mood for? Drinks, dancing, or just catching up?"
"I'm up for anything," Sophie said, settling into a chair. "But I'm definitely excited about hitting a club."
I glanced at Victoria, noticing the way her eyes lit up at the mention of the club. "Sounds good. We'll head out for dinner first. I've booked us a table at one of Monaco's best spots."
