I was pacing the board room thinking about what father could possibly do. He's fucking God he's too holy to hurt anyone...right?
While I was pacing Charlie walked in and placed her hands on my shoulders. "I guess frantically pacing runs in the family." Charlie chuckled. "Yeah I guess so, I'm just worried something is gonna happen to you." I said cupping her cheeks. Just then Luci walked in. "How are my two favorite lady's doing?" He asked putting one arm around me and the other around Charlie.
"Nervous" I said looking at him, "it's gonna be ok because this time we have each other. That's all we need." He kissed my cheek. "Maybe if we can show him how happy we are together he will stop trying to tear us apart." Charlie said. "Cute idea and all dear but Father isn't one to get a hold of easily." I said looking to her.
"But shouldn't it be for you?" She asked "the only reason I was able to get a hold of him easily was because I'm the angel of death and destruction. That's why he needs me up there, my job isn't easy. The only other one that could do my job is Asbeel but he is down here somewhere. As far as the death part I think Azrael has that covered." I said walking away from them.
"I actually don't really know why he needs me up there" I said as Charlie spoke up, "what if we were to find Asbeel and-" "NO" Luci and I said at the same time. "Look Charlie, I love Asbeel, he was the only other person that helped me control my power but along with that he spiraled out of control. He was sent down here so he couldn't hurt anyone again" I said walking over to Charlie.
"Its best to just fight I guess." I said walking to Luci as Charlie looked down. "Sweetie just promise me you wont go near him, he is dangerous." I said as she came over and we all hugged. "I promise."
"Anyways Vaggie said she needed my help with something so Ima go. Plus we need to get back to the hotel so Ill see you later mom and dad." She said walking out.
Charlie pov.
I will find Asbeel, what can they know maybe he has changed. No better way to know unless I find him. I cant let God tear this family apart again. I found Vaggie, Angel, Husk, and Alastor with Niffty and told them about my plan. They all agreed to help me. I will not lose anyone else. Not again.
