Chapter 33

It's the next day and everyone is having breakfast, the sound of cutlery can be heard. Tahir said "I have something to tell you guys." to get everyone's attention. Everyone looked at him and suddenly it became too silent.

He cleared his throat and continued " I have enrolled Sarvi in a Fashion school and she will start attending it from next week." after completing his words he continued with his breakfast.

Everyone else is still silent and this silence is making Sarvi nervous. She doesn't want anyone to get angry on Tahir or create an issue because of her.

Sensing trouble Shiza immediately said " Ok beta. Everyone finish your breakfast." making everyone resume with their breakfast.

The youngsters doesn't mind it much and continued with their breakfast. While Ramshah was looking at Sarvi and after finishing breakfast said "Sarvi come to the room, I have something to talk to you." making Sarvi extremely nervous.

After breakfast everyone left for their work. Sarvi nervously went towards her mother's room. She entered after knocking and found her mother sitting on the bed with a neutral face. She silently sat near her mother waiting for her to speak.

Ramshah took a deep breath and said "Did you asked Tahir to enroll you in a Fashion school ?"

"No I..." Sarvi tried to speak but Ramshah cut her in between.

"You just got married Sarvi and now you are saying that you are going to join something from next week and that to a FASHION SCHOOL. You should be focusing on your marriage right now rather than this. What will your in laws think. Everyone loves you, but now you are the daughter-in-law of this house and you should think about that, before doing anything." Ramshah completed.

Sarvi was sitting there silently with her head down and tears in her eyes. Her mothers words hurt her a lot today and more than that it hurted her that it felt like her mother abandoned her today as a daughter just because she is married now. She couldn't speak because of the knot she felt in her throat.

Before Ramshah could say anything more, Shiza entered in the room and said while coming near Sarvi "I know that I should not interrupt between a mother and daughter, but now that Sarvi is married, she is also my daughter and as her mother I think I have this right." she put her hand on Sarvi's head in a loving manner and continued "I think just because you are married doesn't mean that you should give up on everything else in your life. Also, I know my daughter enough to understand that she would have thought of everyone else before taking this decision, and that she is not the one who asked for this, instead it was my son who told her to do this."

"But bhabhi..." Ramshah tried to interrupt but Shiza stooped her by showing her hand.

"I have not completed yet. I don't think that there is anything wrong in having a dream or an ambition and I would love if my daughter would accomplish her dreams. I would happily support her to become independent and make me proud." Shiza completed making Sarvi hug her tightly while crying. Ramshah was speechless and after this she didn't have anything to say. Shiza hugged Sarvi back and calmed her down a little. She then took Sarvi with her,leaving Ramshah behind.

Shiza made Sarvi sit on her bed and drink some water, then while patting her head she said "It's ok my dear, anyone will not say anything to you now. I'm with you and I'm gonna support you. You are my most lovely daughter and I'll make sure that my daughter fulfill her dreams and make me proud."

Sarvi just mumbled a thank you, putting her head in Shizas lap and after sometime went to sleep.

On the other hand Ramshah was shocked by whatever happened. She was feeling guilty.

She didn't knew how this was going to affect them and change their life.

Tahir went to his uncle and father's office in the evening, to inform them that, it was his decision to enroll her in a fashion school. He is the one who got her registered without even her knowing, so that nobody misunderstand her.

His uncle and father said that it's their life and that they are old enough take these decisions on their own. Also that the elders don't have any problem with it.

Later Tahir went back home and came to know about the incident that took place in the morning, between Ramshah and Sarvi. He was very angry and disappointed in his chachi, but decided not to create any issue as he didn't wanted to hurt Sarvi anymore.

He just ordered for their dinner in their room and made sure he pampered her. He tried his best to comfort her and later slept with her in his protective hold.
