A Timeless Love

The wedding bells were chiming, the guests and the crowd of all our family and friends were coming left and right, and I was finally down to the main lobby seeing the decor—noticing the arrangement for my wedding I had no idea about.

It was incredible.

An outdoor simple yet elegant white and pink wedding. Exactly how I would want it to be.

Chairs were placed nicely in a cascaded pattern with my vision—only seeing from where I was standing right now, a beautiful white tool covered gazebo, and the water off the coast of San Diego showing the skyline of the gorgeous warm and sunny city I grew up in.

Glancing at my Dad once more before things began, he smiled at me warmly. I smiled back joyfully with each step forward I we took.

"Goodbye, Faith Harper." He spoke warmly.

With that, we moved further into the big event as I finally saw the man I'd come to love for many years, and many more to come as our song played loudly for the world to hear.

My Ryder McKenna. Older and sexier. As if that was even possible.

"He's been waiting twenty long years for this, ladybug..." My Dad whispered.

Turning to face me finally around too, I could see him dressed wonderfully in a fitted grey suit I loved so much to see him in—beaming from ear to ear bawling out like a baby happily. But a cute and amazing baby.

Still standing tall and strong though, I bit my bottom lip down lovingly before losing all control myself. My world felt like I was on cloud nine while he didn't once take his eyes off me like he loved doing so much. Looking up ahead at the very front row, I could also see his dear and loving parents whimpering proudly, staring at me too with Jeremiah—along with everyone else nodding. Like they finally got their girl right where they wanted her.

I was glad they did too because I loved them too with all my heart.

Seeing Jasmine finally standing now off the side in my bridal party, crying still after working the isle better than me I'm sure with extra spunk and flair, Andrew was too standing over on Ryder's side as they began to fist bump each other secretly but I still saw.

It was amazing to know that he had found himself a new best friend after the whole Adam fiasco. Better yet, Andrew was now his best man which was much preferred to me.

As soon as I had made it right in front of him, my Dad smiled and hugged me tightly once more before heading over to Ryder—hugging him proudly too as the crowd chuckled.

"Love you too, sir." Ryder said nodding giving in.

"This is my new son-in-law, guys!" He loudly alerted everyone around.

"She's one of us now too!" I heard Marylin cheerfully yell. The audience then cheered.

"Dad!" I said giggling.

"Mom!" Ryder sternly said to her.

Apologetically grinning, all parents sat down and attentively stared at us.

"We are gathered here today to witness history in the making between two people that knew they were meant to be together. Ryder, I was told you had prepared your own vowels you'd like to share?" The officiant then asked.

Nodding clearing his throat, strengthening his tie, and playfully rolling up his sleeves like he was about to fight someone in a suit while our loved ones laughed along with me, he then began to gaze directly into my eyes.
