The guard walked to us and said, "Your majesty, the time to meet is over. you are humbly requested by the queen to return back now."
"We'll get you out of there!" I assure Deave.
"I know you will." He said and held Emily's hand as she tried to walk ahead.
"Emi, Can I get a kiss?" Deave winked. Every time this guy winks, Emily just loses it.
"Are you kidding me?"
"Nah! I am serious, I missed it a lot. Pretty please!"
"With these bars in between, I don't think–"
The guard who came to call us, took a bundle of keys out and opened Deave's cell.
"Oh Jack! Thanks man!" Deave grinned and bit his lips.
"Hurry up though, If the Queen saw me, I would be hanged."
Deave took a step out, his legs trembling, he could barely walk but won't miss this chance. He leaned Emily against the wall and said, "Now there are no restrictions."
Emily without any further ado, cupped his face in her hands and kissed him.
"Faye, What's up with you and Tevren?" Alaric suddenly asked. Silence replied to his answer.
"Um...Emily, hurry up!" I ignored his question.
Emily came towards us, Jack locked Deave back in the prison and we made our exit. Ric looked at me waiting for an answer.
"I get bad vibes from Tevren, dude, I don't know why..." He interrupted the silence.
"Ric, Maybe Tevren isn't so bad after all." I finally managed to say something.
"I know, I could be wrong but all I am trying to say is you should get to know him better. I just don't won't want you to get hurt, Faye."
"Don't worry I will try to know him better once we get Deave out but for now let's go home. I am starving from last night and it's almost lunch time." I rolled my eyes as my stomach roared.
We teleported back to Callista and walked through the castle corridors as the guards greeted us. As we walked ahead of the throne room I heard my Father's voice, "What were you all doing during the theft?!"
"Theft?!" I turned around to Ric, startled.
"Let's go in!" He said as Emily followed us in.
"Father, what's wrong?" Alaric inquired. My father was so busy in scolding the soldiers that he didn't even realize when we had entered.
"There has been a theft from the royal treasure." He answers. My mother is standing by him, tense. The soldiers stood with their heads down, full of guilt.
"What?" I asked, astonished.
"Oh my goodness." Emily clapped her hands to her mouth.
"The guards seem to say that they don't know what happened, they were just standing normally but when they looked at the door behind them, it was open. They didn't see anyone pass in." My mother explained.
"That's strange." I tried to think.
"Eric!" A guard came ahead as my father called him.
"Increase the security in Dicendia, completely. The intruder mustn't have reached far away till now." The King announced.
"Children, You go and have lunch. You must be hungry." My mother tried to compel us to eat and she succeeded because we were famished. After eating lunch, the three of us went to Emily's room. Light beige curtains and white walls, brown furniture and beautiful crystal windows. The room was full of tulips and books lying here and there, messy yet beautiful.
